They did an amazing installation and cleaned up and took away my old furnace and HVAC. They were very professional, knowledgeable and answered in detail all of my questions. I highly recommend Anthony's Plumbing, Heating & Electrical. Also, as a ASAP member the process was so easy and the installation was next day service.

This was, without question, the worst customer service experience our family has ever had…read more We trusted Anthony to install, maintain, and service our HVAC system for years. In September 2023, our AC was diagnosed as low on refrigerant, and we paid $463.51 to have refrigerant added. No leak search was recommended or documented. Years later, when we formally complained, Anthony admitted in writing that a leak search should have been offered. Unfortunately, by the time the problem resurfaced in 2026, major components were no longer covered the way they would have been had the issue been properly investigated earlier. In July 2026, Anthony again charged us to add refrigerant. Five days later, our entire system failed. We hired an independent certified HVAC technician who spent over four hours evaluating the system and identified multiple issues, including that it had been overcharged with refrigerant. While he could not definitively say that caused the compressor failure, he explained that an overcharged system can place significant stress on a compressor. What disappointed us most wasn't just the HVAC work--it was how the company handled the situation afterward. We experienced conflicting information from different employees, canceled appointments, and repeated communication problems. We tried to resolve everything privately through detailed emails and documentation before ever considering a public review. Although Anthony acknowledged that a leak search should have been recommended in 2023, they denied reimbursement. We also requested the HVAC Manager's documentation supporting their decision, but that request was never answered. After exhausting every reasonable effort to resolve this directly, we filed complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies and shared our experience publicly so other homeowners can make an informed decision. If you're considering Anthony, my advice is simple: get a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs or replacing your HVAC system. Keep copies of every invoice, every email, and every recommendation. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Anthony Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric.

Weeks earlier, I'd had one less-than ideal experience with a different plumber based in Olathe, and…read morebecause I have a very small budget for home improvements, I shopped around extensively in the K.C. area to find an experienced licensed plumber I could rely upon to install a replacement utility sink and replace my tub faucet. Alfonso showed up right on time with his helper, and they knocked out my needs-done list in under 3 hours. Not dirt cheap, but having already gotten other free estimates nearly double his, I was very pleased to get both needs done in one visit at a price I could afford. They also did a very good cleanup, so I didn't have to.

Paid $240 Upfront and the Job Is Still Not Finished…read more I hired Razo's Plumbing to replace an outside faucet while new siding was being installed on my house. The plumber came out and explained that he could not install the new faucet at that time because of the siding work. He removed the old faucet and told me he would come back to install the replacement. I paid $240 upfront for the job. Once I had the new 1/2-inch MIP faucet ready, I contacted him and sent him a picture. He told me, "I can stop by this Friday." Friday came and he did not show up. Since then, I have repeatedly texted asking when he is coming back. My messages have gone unanswered. It has now been two weeks, the job I paid for is still unfinished, and I am left trying to chase down the plumber just to get a response. I understand that schedules change. What I do not understand is taking full payment upfront, promising to return, not showing up, and then ignoring repeated messages from a customer. I have screenshots of the communication showing the promised return date and my multiple attempts to follow up. At this point, I simply want the job I paid $240 for completed or my money refunded. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Razo's Plumbing

The service plan sounds awesome in theory but... The company came over at least a half a dozen times to try to problem solve an issue with my HVAC system. The HVAC system was about 6 years old and still under warranty. Again, the technicians were all extremely polite and seemed somewhat knowledgeable. After trying several fairly cost effective options they narrowed it down to the blower motor. They priced The replacement of the blower motor at $1,500. I felt that that was a little high as the standard rate was between $300 and 1,500. I called around to get some estimates. I found another local company here in Kansas City that gave me a price of $600. I called Corum to discuss why there was such a variance in the price quote for the job. The office manager that does the billing nor the manager of the facility wanted to talk to me. I understand that you have to pay for these technicians to go on site, evaluate and do their job, but don't say that you are going to have a service plan with no cost and then Jack up the price on the back end. Management refusing to talk to me about their billing practices was all I needed to know. After all is said and done, we got the new blower motor, a rerouted drip line, a new motherboard and a fresh warranty for well under $1,000.
