I was visiting Lisbon and tried out this yoga studio. I am a certified yoga instructor myself and was really grateful I ended up here. Pedro is an amazing teacher! The studio is fully equipped with all the Iyengar props and I ended up practicing there every day for my visit. I left feeling so light :) read more

History
Established in 2013.
The Espaço Mandala is created after the main teacher José Pedro came from a journey of 8 years into deep practice of Yoga and also a deep study of massage therapy.
Meet the Manager: José Pedro Pereira P.
Yoga: Teacher training, assistant and teacher at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Center under the guidance of Sharat Arora for 9 months. Presently he practice with Billy Konrad, a senior Iyengar teacher. Christian Pisano, Carlos Rui, Alexandra Sequeira, Fausto Jacobs were also inspirations for his development. Meditation: After some experiment in different techniques, from Tantra to non dual techniques he does his first Vipassana meditation retreat and for 4 years he practice this meditation almost every day. Since 2013 he his connected with the Awakened Life Project of Peter and Cynthia Bampton and he practices a non-dual technique. Shiatsu: He did the 3 years Shiatsu course at the Macrobiotic Portuguese Institute and since 2009 he started to do Shiatsu Therapy. Ayurvedic Massage: 2005 - 3 months course of Ayurvedic massage at the Luso-Brasilian Associacion of Ayurveda in Lisbon. 2007 - One month intensive course at P.V.A. Ayurvedic Hospital in Kannur, Índia
