Wish I would've gone to a different surgeon. I went for breast implants hoping to go atleast two full cup sizes larger. I originally wanted to do the incisions under the arm but after the doctor giving me his opinion that the crease of the breast would be best for me. So I listened to him and agreed that would be what we did. He had me to 'homework' on the size I wanted too small, perfect & too big. With the guarantee that he would make sure I was completely satisfied with the size and look of the implants even if it meant a second surgery at no cost. After surgery I was very disappointed. He let me know he would do another surgery but I had to wait a year. After six months because I was still unhappy with size he agreed to do another surgery sooner than a year. He started out saying because I chose saline he has room to fill them a little more and suggested doing that rather than replacing the implant. But then the next appointment I had with him he said I would have to go with new implants or I would end up with a 'uni boob' and assured me the surgery would be completely covered as he promised to give results I would be satisfied with. I didn't care either way as long as I ended up with the results I expected after the first surgery. The day of the second surgery the doctor came in and suddenly changed his guarantee. I had to pay another $1,200 up front for the new implants. I already had the IV and medical gown on but decided if he was going to give me an attitude and go back on his word I was best off to take that $1,200 and find a new surgeon. I'm going to go have a consultation with Dr. Mahan and hope he can fix what this doctor messed up. Not only am I not the size I wanted but both beasts sit completely different and one is now slightly larger than the other (actually the one that was originally slightly smaller). Would NOT recommend for breast augmentation. His staff, the nurses, were very helpful and friendly. read more

I have wanted breast implants for years. My husband and I started to research doctors and found Dr. Mandell-Brown and we scheduled a consultation. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. When we met with the doctor he took his time explaing the procedure, options, and answered all of our questions. He did not rush the consultation and made sure that we were comfortable and understood everything we talked about. We ended up scheduling surgery that day! When my surgery time came we arrived on time but did have to wait a while until my surgery started. The doctor had a surgery before mine and I guess it ran over. That is the only negative thing I have to say. I know that appointments/surgeries can run over and take longer than expected. The positive thing that I can say about having to wait a very long time is that Dr. Mandell-Brown does make sure he is doing he best and takes his time to achieve excellent results. If that were me on the operating table and he had to take longer than expected to make sure the procedure will come out like I wanted then I would want him to. It is better to take your time and be precise than rush through anything, especially surgery. I would recommend Dr. Mandell-Brown to anyone. I am so happy with my new breasts! He really did an outstanding job. The staff is so friendly and nice. I had to call a couple of times to ask questions and they took their time and made sure I was satisfied with what they told me. This doctors office is so nice, and the people are great! Such a great experience, I am so happy we found him. If I ever needed anything done again, he would be the first one I would call. He also had my husband text him the night of my surgery to see how I am doing. He still cares about his patients even when the surgery is done and you are home. I have not yet had treatment, but i was very impressed with the surgical consultation. The consultation price was surprisingly reasonable--another surgeon in the area charges almost 4 times what this office charges (the other surgeon would credit it against your procedure, but since I am undecided, I could have simply been out a lot of money). The consultation took 1 1/2 hours total. It included paperwork; meeting with the patient coordinator to discuss in detail why I was there; meeting with the doctor, and then meeting with the office/financial person. Everyone was very friendly and seemed happy to be there. The bulk of the visit was with the doctor. He's extremely thorough, takes several photos, and if you are having facial surgery, he uses graphics to alter the photos to show and discuss with you what he can and cannot accomplish. He then showed me before and after photos of other clients that had the same procedures and gave me a detailed comparison to my case. The doctor was extremely thorough and obviously knows his stuff. I now have to decide whether to have the work done. But the decision is about whether to commit myself to having a surgical procedure, whether I can take the time off work, and whether I want to spend the money (which seems comparable to what I've found online). I have no hesitation with regard to Dr. Mandell-Brown's expertise. read more

For over 20 years I felt incomplete until I met Dr. Mandell Brown and his staff. He spent twice as much time with me and my husband to make sure we understood what my surgery would entail and what we could expect. Dr. Mandell-Brown does not give you false hopes or expectations. He will tell you what he can do, then do it and the results are magical. That was my experience. What I appreciate about him is that he is a proponent of the natural look. If you want one of those Hollywood pulled too tight procedures or want to end up looking like a cat woman, this is not the doctor for you. I had results in line with my expectations and minimal discomfort. I was able to return to a regular life after a week. People didn't know that I had a facelift but they noticed something. I have had a few services at this place. The first was several years ago, I received Restylane injections in my lips. That was a bit uncomfortable but I loved the result. Recently I received Botox in 2 areas. Dr. Mandell-Brown was great, he explained everything to me and it was a pleasant experience. This was the first time I experienced Botox. It took several days to be effective. I didn't understand the benefit until I saw it myself. LOVE the result...lines on forehead and crows feet gone or minimized greatly! Lastly I received a Vitalize Peel from Debra. She is also great and educated me a lot about skin care. I am now in my 3rd day and my face is red and peeling. Everyone wants to look their best at any age. When I decided on a facelift and consulted with Dr. Mandell-Brown I spent about an hour and a half with him and his staff going over the procedure which included computer imaging. I was well taken care of by him and his staff during the surgery and afterwards. The recovery was quick and smooth. The result was well worth it, I have never been happier. It gave me a new lease on life. I have more self-confidence and I have been told I look a lot younger than my age. My second appointment with Mera was as great as the first. The staff that greeted me before my appointment were very kind and attentive. Thinking back to my last facial years ago, I thought I would be in for about 15minutes then out the door. Much to my surprise, it took about an hour of concentrated care and use of products that I now have a few of at home.Not one time was I pressured into buying any product with the office. Had a great consultation with Doctor Mandell-Brown for a recessed chin. He discussed my options, risks, complications, and did patient teaching. He also discussed orthognathic surgery and referenced me two orthognathic surgeons in the Cincinnati area. He also took the time to discuss what causes a recessed chin.
