Build your own salad and peach tea - amazingly fresh and filling
    Jennifer C.

Amazing salad - so fresh, quick service, they had a French and English menu which was highly appreciated as a tourist. The peach tea was exactly the amount of sweetness I enjoy - pour it over iced and you'd think they'd made it! The decor is very welcoming and fun. I loved all the pink and merch mixed in. Only down side was the price was expensive for a salad but you get what you pay for. I'd definitely visit if I wanted a quality salad on a hot day. It's vegan friendly so don't forget o bring your plant based friends and family!

No where does it say this Is TAKE AWAY ONLY! they have a few seats on the street but I was hot & my feet were tired; really love their salads but just couldn't hang out in the sun & enjoy it...

Roasted sweet potatoes the side of a pea?

Worst overpriced salad ever. They don't even bother to serve your salad in a nice bowl anymore. It's served in a take out bowl even if you eat there and the portions are ridiculous. I paid 28$ for a tiny, soggy and too salty salad. I've been to other Mandy's before and had mixed experiences but this one beats them all. Never coming back. They also forgot the brocoli I had paid for so I had to go back and ask for it. The roster sweet potatoes are a joke.

Yummy Ramen Chicken Bowl! Belle combinaison de saveurs.

Pretty good salad! Fresh ingredients! Belle vinaigrette relevée comme je les aimes! First lunch in a terrasse (pouvez-vous comprendre que je suis québécoise? LOL)

Super tiniest Mandy's, I believe in the island of Montreal. My second visit in this branch. The service is good and quick usually because it's takeout spot. This time was more quicker because I ordered online, and I just picked it up instead of waiting. I ordered my usual Mexi salad (Roman lettuce, mixed greens, avocado, shredded carrots, grape tomatoes, corn, black beans, cilantro and cilantro cumin dressing). As always, it's delicious, and very filling. I, as a hungry girl, I was very happy and satisfied.

I heard about Mandy's from everyone in Montreal so I had to give it a try...I ventured in on a weekday evening and the place was quite busy. There's limited seating inside, but they have a really nice patio. And of course, Mandy's is great for takeout. The aesthetics of this place is awesome. Very rustic and historic with floral aesthetics and a pleasant atmosphere. The storefront was bustling and it has a really great aroma. There are menus all over the place and the menus are also online if you want to take a look before you arrive. I decided on the santorini before I approached the cashier, but I asked for a recommendation on what protein to include. The cashier suggested tempeh, and I happily accepted. It took about 5-10 minutes for them to prepare the salad in the back, but you can enjoy some refreshing mint water while you wait. The friendly cashier came around cash to give me my order which was a nice touch. The santorini salad is made with watermelon, red onions, feta, basil, romaine lettuce, couscous, and a really great vinaigrette. What really pushed me to get this salad was the watermelon and I have no regrets! The tempeh was also quite delicious and cooked perfectly! The ingredients were extremely fresh and flavourful - you can really tell they put in a lot of effort into preparing the salads. My only concern is I paid nearly $20 for salad. While it definitely is filling, it probably won't be my go-to meal every week - perhaps every once in a while. Still worth checking out though!

As someone who isn't really a fan of greasy food court fare I was so happy to discover Mandy's while in need of a mid-shopping lunch break. The focus is on salads and while that might sound boring Mandy's is anything but. I love the fact that in an area most of the fast serve options are greasy junk I can come here and get a healthy meal. This location is really cute but it is small and consequently there isn't much seating. You would be wise to take your order to go. You have the option to either build your own salad or choose from one of their creations. I went with the Fave which contained a whole bunch of yummy goodness like shaved parmesan and avocado. I really liked the honey mustard dressing. It was delicious though I do wish that there had been a protein like chicken added to it. While I initially felt full that feeling wore off very quickly. A salad and San Pellegrino cost me about $17 and while some might find that steep this was downtown so the prices are in line with the neighbourhood. In any case if you want a healthy lunch Mandy's is the place to come in the area. I'll definitely be back!

i wanted to start off by saying i have never been a girl to love salads. despite being vegetarian, i NEVER order salads because i find them unfulfilling and overpriced (especially from most salad chains such as freshii). BUT, my sister highly recommended this salad so i decided to be open-minded and give it a try, and i'm so glad i did! i got the habibi salad and was pleased to also hear that you can sub out any ingredients you don't like for something else. my sister and i sat across the street and i completely DEVOURED the salad. it was filling, delicious and i near licked it clean. will definitely be coming back and hopefully trying other menu items!

I read on a foodie's blog that Mandy's was going to open a salad bar in the heart of downtown, so one evening after work, I took the time to visit. The Mandy's counter is located right on Square Phillips, opposite the La Baie, for those who do not know the area. The concept is perfectly adapted to the rhythm of the neighborhood since it is fast, a simple paper form to fill or a selection of salads to choose from and 15 minutes later you're ready to go. I ordered my favorite: the Asian salad, which is made up of Asian sesame vinaigrette. Romaine lettuce, mixed greens, avocado, crunchy noodles, mandarin oranges and cherry tomatoes with a cookie and a kombucha juice. Everything was tasty! For this address, they have maintained the Californian atmosphere but the counter theme was added: there is almost no seating, some small stools and that's it. An additional address where you can eat healthy while enjoying a nice terrace in the heart of downtown? ..... I'm here for it and I will go back for sure!

I found Mandy's new location while I was going for a walk and it is so close to my work place. Im very happy for a healthy loving salad place nearby and not trying to junk around. It's amazing. Love the idea of fitting in Mandy's there as it's like an express service where they have wifi, places to eat. I love the whole concept. Their salads are still the best and affordable. The hostesses are friendly and very accommodating. Love this new place of colours around us and positive vibes. It's so cute.

This is more of a pickup location cuz there are very few places to sit down but the food is unreal. I would eat this every single day if i could!

Used to love Mandy's. But as the chain has expanded, the salads have shrunk, and the prices have risen. Not a good combination.

This was a pretty large and clean restaurant located in a large plaza with plenty of parking. They had lots of tables and also a pretty robust takeout service. Bun Bo Hue - 10/10 Super flavorful broth and a perfect super mild spicy! I personally don't like all the pork feet and bones in my noodle soup but authentically I think it should come with it and other people prefer it. But I liked that it only came with the regular viet ham and beef bc I don't like the other things. #44 Pork Chop Rice Plate - 10/10 It may look small on camera but this portion was HUGE. Lots of rice! But the pork chop was decent regular size. Pork chop was perfectly marinated and I love the glaze that comes with it. Cooked perfectly as well not too dry and not tough. Also the fried egg was perfect! A little soft fried sunny side egg yolk! Overall I loved all elements of this place and I had so much rice left over but I was FULL for the whole day. Banh Xeo - 10/10 HUGE portion as well! It's super stuffed with lots of filling and the crepe was cooked soft and crispy! I like this style of appetizer because it's super hands on and you get to wrap it like a little roll. Super fun and yummy appetizer! ALSO pleaseee try the sugar cane drink! It's so refreshing and it's real authentic sugar cane and it literally soothes your soul. The ambience was super welcoming and the restaurant was super big and spacious. Overall, I liked every single dish and everything was super flavorful and made me feel good eating it! Best bun Bo hue I had!

Whatever it was Pho Saigon Viet-Nam served me up the best Satay Beef Pho I ever tasted. I started my lunch meal with spring rolls ($5,00). They were good but not the best spring rolls I ever had. The roll I thought was a bit chewy. Next came the Satay Beef ($12) which totally flavored the Pho. It was the best Pho I ever had but mind you I am no expert. They have a strange business model in that a small bowl is $11 and a large bowl is $12. It came out piping hot. I had to let it sit, as well as, blow on the broth to cool it down. The staff was tri-lingual. Imagine that! The food came out quick. It seems a lot of locals dine here. The restaurant is located in Chinatown. The street entrance is below ground level. The restaurant is somewhat dated and upkeep could be improved. The food is a 5 STAR in my opinion.

The restaurant was relatively empty. Tabletops had a bit of a stench to it and the menus handed to us were sticky. Not one to judge a book by its cover and these conditions are fairly common in Chinatown. The menu was pretty extensive with all the common dishes. I really wanted some banh cuon or banh uot, but on a frigid night, I felt like some pho would hit the spot instead. The bun bo hue and banh canh were very enticing to me; those would've been great options on a cold night as well. Prices were reasonable ranging from 12-16$ based on size. We ordered a small and medium; instantly regretted not getting a bigger size though because I def could have eaten more. Broth was darker than normal. Nothing stood out about the broth, but it was pretty spice-forward and still very much hit the spot. They surprisingly loaded up on the meat; I've never had this much meat in my bowl of pho at any other restaurants. The noodles were also cooked perfectly! Realistically I probably wouldn't come back here as often if my other usual spots were open, but I'm especially grateful they were welcoming during holiday hours. I noticed that the banh xeo and some other dishes were cheaper than other places though, so maybe I'll return for that. CASH ONLY.
