My hair stayed perfect through the humidity and all night through all of my dancing! My mother and two sisters also had their hair done by courtney and they loved it too! There was a marathon going on that weekend and the road to our venue was going to be closed, but Courtney and her makeup artist made it on time with no problem! Very punctual! I can't believe this is the first review for this place! Well, actually maybe I can. I had no idea…read morethey existed until my mom/aunt/cousin all told me it was awesome....but they've been around for 4 years, so I thought it must just be that I was really unobservant (and I didn't live in the area). I got a great cut here. I have really thick, curly hair. Even though I requested a straight style cut, she made sure that it would still look good if I wore it curly, which I didn't ask for, but I reaaaally appreciate! I asked her some product questions, and she recommended some products that she doesn't even sell! So I knew I could really take her advice. Two reasons it gets four instead of five stars: When she was done, I asked her to make my bangs just a little shorter, and she took off about 1/2 an inch, when I was thinking more like 1/4 inch. So they were a little awkwardly short, but it's partly my fault for not being really specific. The second reason is because the location is not super beautiful. It's defintely nice, but it doesn't feel like a luxury. But I suppose that is maybe why the haircuts are only $30!
