Ordered Crispy Pata, Kare-Kare, Fresh Vegetarian Lumpia, Ube Sago (Boba). Crispy Pata is pork leg with skin & bones boiled till tender & deep fried, crispy, so tasty. Be careful of bones tough on your teeth. Kare-Kare is beef stew with peanut sauce, thick & creamy with Pechay, like Bokchoy. Fresh Vegetable Lumpia is veggies wrapped in crepe like wrapper & rolled. Lumpia is not fried a healthy option. It comes with tasty sauce. Ube sago is more like Ube ice cream shake with Boba tapioca pearls. Ube is purple yam, Also good as a dessert drink. It's so rich, creamy & delicious. Nice ending to a great meal. Needless to say I rolled out of the restaurant with leftovers for my next meal in tow. The restaurant is in Robinson shopping mall with parking available. Free WiFi is available. This is my family's favorite traditional ilongo restaurant. Anyone visiting Iloilo must come & try this restaurant.

They serve tons of refreshing juices like Kalamansi juice, mango juice, fresh coconut juice. They also have special menu that's good for a party of 4 posted all around for a fixed price-all good for sharing. Just ask what portions best suits your party. The crispy pata is very good that has some crunchy skin and that perfect umami saltiness. This is located in the province of Iloilo where my in-laws are from. A very nice, upscale resto and oh, you can bring your own liquor and drink there even if it's a black label. They allow it and will even provide ice if you like that. It's a trendy place, clean, wonderful staff. I liked this place and all the foods we had. If you know your Filipino food like i do? I highly recommend this for a nice special dinner. This is a good place.

The restaurant is clean and spacious, perfect for large groups, we were 10 people. The staff were nice and friendly, though the service took over 20 minutes so we were really hungry by the time the food came. We ordered liempo baboy, liempo manok, fish sinigang, pork sweet and sour, grilled bangus, chopsuey, and rice. My favorites were the liempo baboy and liempo manok, the pork was tender and juicy with a crispy outside, and the chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The sinigang was tasty, and while the bangus was good, I wished it was a little crispier. The pork sweet and sour had a nice flavor but didn't have much meat compared to the sauce. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Ramboy's, but if you're dining with a big group, expect to wait a bit for your food.

In addition, you can get non-BBQ Filipino favorites - kare-kare, kinilaw and lumpiang shanghai, just to name a few. Our guide took us there when we arrived mid-afternoon from Manila; it proved to be a good choice. A takeout order of rice and newly barbequed liempo and lechon manok served all seven of us. Prices were fairly reasonable - 210 pesos for a whole roasted chicken, 300 peso for a kilogram of roast pork. The roasting pit is continually turning out food because the place is popular even post-lunch, said our guide. If you are on your way to Boracay Island and are feeling a bit hungry, grab something to go here before getting on the ferry.

My bf ordered a beef stew. It kinda of reminded me of a dark caldereta but it was sweet.. not bad tho. Meat was super tender and the gravy it came in was tasty. I ordered the crispy chicken covered with pinipig. This was super yummy! Wish I could've finished it! Despite the good food I'm giving this place a 3 because we ordered lumpia Shanghai, this was given to us after we got our meals. It was suppose to be an appetizer! Also, the service for some reason was slow and we were the only customers in the Resturant - like what was everyone doing??? Literally, my bf and I were the ONLY people there!

SENIORS BEWARE! DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED FAIRLY! We shared 3 kinds of dishes. When I got our bill, they only deducted the senior discount on one dish that has the highest price. I called their attention that the senior citizen law states that if two individuals shared several dishes and only one has a senior citizen card, the senior discount should be from 50% of the total cost of the meal. The staff said that their policy is that only one dish (that has the highest cost) will be computed for the discount. I even showed them the law but they still refused to change their policy. I'm planning to file a complaint with the Dept. of Trade and Industry as well as with the National Commission for Senior Citizen about this.
