This new Indian does not have the expected Indian decor it is light and modern with slight Indian overtones. The menu is exstensive and caters for most tastes, for the inexperienced Indian diner the menu items are starred according to strength. There is a well stocked bar with Cobra on draught an excellent accompaniment to the meal. The service is a shade slow but well worth the wait for the superb tasting dishes. I sampled three starters and three main courses and could find no fault with any of them. The portions were very generous leaving no room for a sweet. The bill was not excessive for the great food friendly staff and great food. Even the crockery and cutlery are unusual with different shaped plates for each course. We went here and I was somewhat diissapointed with portion sizes. The food itself was good but there just was'nt enough of it in my opinion. My partner commented he could eat it again when he finished! The staff were friendly and the place is well decorated though. It just lacked atmosphere...
