Long story short, he looked at the laptop and found nothing wrong, but whatever he did, it was immediately ready to connect to all the networks available and has worked great since. The computer that FBS built was a complete joke and was at least 1000 dollars overpriced. The computer constantly froze at the boot screen and would then it would need a fresh install of windows in order to work again. When we took it back to FBS they claimed it was a "software" problem and therefore the warranty would not cover it. After constant problems, and returning the computer exactly 6 times (the last being for a 6 month period) we decided to give up and I built a brand new computer myself. I have tested the computer that FBS has built with a new GPU, PSU, HDD, and OS and STILL this piece of crap that FBS sold us locks up. In short, FBS installed crappy components at an exorbitant price and would not go back and fix the mistakes they made. AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

I took my laptop in for a battery replacement that was covered under apple due to a manufacture…read moredefect and they proceeded to charge me for a diagnostic fee which is completely unreasonable since I told them exactly what the problem was and what I needed. Then they proceeded to charge me about $300 total and $200 of that was for labor which it should all be covered under apple anyway. Do yourself a favor and take it to the actual apple store instead of dealing with these people who try to take all your money for no reason.

Civicplus is decent website software hidden behind raw incompetence. It is NOT for IT…read moreprofessionals and IT professionals will find nothing but frustration in dealing with these amateurs. They do not seem aware of what their website can and cannot do and will routinely ask users to perform actions that only admins have the authority to perform resulting in failure after failure. I currently have 5 users who are unable to establish their accounts because the password system does not work resulting in users not being able to maintain their own department's webpages. Admins cannot reset passwords, so I sit helplessly watching this useless password system fail again and again. My users have now given up on maintaining their own department pages and all those tasks have fallen to IT. We are looking for a replacement and regret our investment in civicplus. Do yourself a favor, find any other website company as even a group of high school kids will do a better job than civicplus.
