I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Manitos Sprinkler Services -- specifically with Enrique -- absolutely deserves one. I called, clearly explained my irrigation issue, and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday, September 8, 2026, between 8:30-9:30 AM. He had my name and number, and everything was confirmed.One hour later, I received a text saying my appointment was canceled because I supposedly didn't send "required information." I was never told anything was missing, and the cancellation came out of nowhere. When I called to understand what happened, Enrique immediately became rude, talked over me, and hung up on me.This is not how you treat people. If this is the level of disrespect shown before any work is even started, I can only imagine how customers are treated once they're relying on him mid‑job. The lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic respect was shocking.I'm genuinely grateful I learned this before allowing them to work on my property. I do not apologize for the lengthy message because some things can't be said in 3 words.   I got a knock on my door from someone driving by that I had water running down my yard. I go outside to check to see what's going on & I see 1 of my sprinklers running at full force. I go to turn the sprinkler system off & it's unplugged. I call the number on the system & they no longer service my area & cannot recommend anyone for me. I Google emergency sprinkler service Praying that this wasn't going to be an all day thing. I called the second company listed in my search. Enrique explained to me the costs of coming out to me as well as breaking down the cost of the pros & cons of anything that he could & will do based on what he finds once he arrives. The catch was that he was about 3-4 driveways to his first customer of the day and it would be about 4 hours before he could get to me. He said text me your address, let me call the customer and I'll call you back. It took him less than 1 minute to return my call stating that he would be at my house in about 30 minutes. Before I could raise the garage door his helper (Wifey) was already at the under ground water system doing what she does. I explained there steroids I did to shut the valve off while Enrique walked around the house with me. I'm glad he did because what I thought was water values was actually the gas valves to my fire places (which Enrique turned back on). From beginning to end of service it took him about 30 to stop the water. He went above & beyond to make sure the water was turned off to the sprinkler system & the water to the house was still running. Excellent customer service from the moment he answered the phone until he pulled out my driveway. He even sent me a follow up text to make sure everything was still good. The best part of this whole encounter was that Enrique stated that he usually don't answer his phone when he's driving but something told him to pull over and answer the call. Initially, Enrique was very communicative when scheduling my appointment for Tuesday the 8th, and communicating his arrival time. They spent about an hour here at my house assessing the drainage problem in my backyard. He seemed very transparent and knowledgeable and provided many solutions for drainage and I was ready to hire him just based on my initial impression of him - he seemed very straight forward and honest. Enrique and his brother-in-law tackled a formidable task for us - our sprinklers weren't turning on at all, despite our trying everything. Enrique first assessed that it wasn't an issue with the valves, though that required they search our entire lawn for those darned valves because they were hidden underneath pine straw, soil, and even sometimes sod. Then he dug up sections of electrical wiring to locate the part that was cut. He ultimately found a section of wiring where either someone accidentally pierced it, or a small animal chewed into it. They replaced the wiring, then check that each sprinkler was functioning properly, and re-programmed the timer to ensure appropriate but not excessive watering. Enrique and his BIL were professional and efficient. I've had irrigation and landscaping companies out that spent half the time they did but charge twice their amount. I will definitely call up Enrique in a second when any issue arises with our yard. read more

FINALLY a company that gets it!! I can't say anything negative about my experience with Manitos from the first hello to a job extremely well done. First the easy stuff that so many others seem to drop the ball on is simply calling you back in a timely manner and actually showing up at agreed upon times, Enrique batted 1000 despite my needing some flexibility on timing. We all hate it when something around the house breaks down and you don't know who to trust. When I turned to my trusted community Yelpers for help and landed on Manitos Landscape's page, I still wondered how many of the handful of reviews, all with 5 stars, were legit. Anyway, I took the plunge and I'm glad I did. Enrique was luckily in the area the afternoon of the day I called. He was very friendly and communicated all of his thoughts well. Does NOT stand behind their work. We had Manitos repair a down spout drain line that had been clogged up over the years. They had to simply replace old buried 25' drain pipe but instead they supposedly flushed the old line and installed a pop up end cap in the back yard. It's not working we had Mr Manito out last week to see what's the problem and he said that we had a lot of rain lately ant the drain couldn't handle the water. Well I'm sitting in my screened in porch watching my floor getting flooded and I call Mr Manitos to explain that his fix isn't working. First off he acted like he didn't remember me then when prompted that he was just out last week he suddenly realized whose house he was at. Then he tries to tell me that the drain fix they did was due to my house not being "waterproofed" REALLY?? That's what we paid him to do. To simply make sure the down spout and line was clear and the rainwater was to be channeled away from my house. Then he cops an attitude. Not happy with my tone of voice.
