My wife and I did not have that option, having driven over 4 hours to purchase our car. We trusted Dutch's Chevrolet's word that the vehicle was sound, only needing a replacement airflow actuator behind the dash. We fully acknowledge our responsibility in making the purchase "blind" - that's on us. That said, within the first week we had to get a new emergency brake, new brake pads, rotors and calipers. Three weeks later we had to replace the catalytic converters and manifolds. Bottom line: Shortly after buying our used vehicle from Dutch's Chevrolet, we had to shell out almost half the purchase price just to get the car in working/safe condition. Don't let this be you!

When you get To Athens you can't miss the place. ( the town is 2 blocks long) There are cars parked every which way to fit into their lot and there is usually someone outside smoking a cigarette. If your looking to have a nice sit down in a waiting area, Perhaps a cup of coffee , the daily talk show on the TV or perhaps CNN this place isn't for you. There are usually quite a Few gentlemen hanging around the "waiting area" and they will usually offer you a chair , and you reading choice is a phone book, From 1999. If you are lucky the radio may even be on! All this, in my opinion, adds to the place ;) We usually just drop or cars off for repairs and the few times I have waited I had several children with me so we hung Out in a church parking lot across the street which was probably better than sitting even in the nicest waiting room.
