    Many Glacier Hotel

Very old hotel! Small rooms, no tv, little WiFi, no service. The best experience I have had visiting a national park. You are completely immersed in the vast beauty of this place! If you get a chance to see or be a part of the Hootenanny, consider yourself lucky! It was a hoot! I could have stayed here forever! Food was pretty good considering the remote location.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights. The room was a king, park-side room at over $300/ night. Very spend, but IN Glacier National Park. My room was comfortable, but there's no A/C, so it could get very warm in the summer. We stayed September 10-14 and the weather was great with highs in the 50s and 60sF, the low on our last day was 29F. Make sure you get the Ptarmigan Grand Breakfast Buffet, the dining room has unforgettable views of Swiftcurrent Lake. Our biggest problem was the UNuseable WiFi. After waiting 30 minutes to get connected, my husband was only able to get some of his email headers to load, and none of the email. So you WON'T be able to sync your phone or your tracking apps until you leave the Park and use your cellular data. This hotel is truly historic and epic. We had a once in a lifetime experience hiking the western part of Glacier. Be forewarned that you MUST make your reservation by phone about 12-13 months in advance and your reservation is held by prepayment of the first night's stay.

I mean I powered through the 2 nights but I felt very... dirty... Everything here was outdated, the carpets and beddings are questionable... same with the towels... sigh... Environment The was plenty of parking available, it is right off the Main Street, so if felt ok.. I was able to park right in front of my room and see my car.. It was a little shady for me Niceness of the staff Very nice staff, they had a water machine in the front office. The check-in was easy. The check-out... I am not sure how it really works, if you want to check out before 7am, you may have to call someone. I tried to check out at 6:50 and there was a note on the door to call (which didn't work btw) then I called another number and the person was able to open the door so I checked-out. The check-out process could be optimized.. maybe have a dropbox for people to drop off keys... Dollar It was the saver price! I paid around 90$ a night. Though I feel like it isn't worth the cost. Yes/No NO I would not stay here again...

The office manager does not respond when you ring the bell to her office to explain these issues, she doesn't answer! We arrived late (~10PM) and nearly couldn't find the place because it was PITCH DARK without visible signage or lighting. Address says at Durham Road but it's really a dirt road 50 feet from Durham that is very easily missed. We found our check-in details taped to the front door. I say "found" because it was PITCH DARK so I had to use the flashlight on my cell phone and the lights to the car in order to see it. The paper directed us to Cabin 2 and said the key could be found under the front mat. We walked over uneven terrain, down stairs, across more uneven terrain to find Cabin 2. It was PITCH DARK without any outdoor lighting or lights on in the cabin. The room itself (and really, it was just a square room) was fine. It seemed clean, but was very basic. We immediately noticed there wasn't a bathroom attached. The bathrooms and showers are located in another structure back across the uneven terrain, up the flight of stairs, across more uneven terrain to the bathroom structure. Any middle of the night bathroom trips would need to be made in the PITCH DARK without any outdoor lighting. We ultimately decided it wouldn't be safe for us to stay there, so we left. We luckily found a lovely room WITH A BATHROOM at Glacier Park Lodge that was much more comfortable and safe for our family of 4. BEWARE of the misleading "private bathroom" and bathroom "a few steps away" language that are totally inaccurate and meant to mislead. Definitely not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues.

It is not an experience that is for everyone. From my understanding, these tipis are pretty authentic and the owner is a member of the blackfeet tribe with great knowledge in building tipis. This hotel is just gross. If Wyndham will put their name on this hotel, their name means nothing…read moreabout quality or cleanliness. The carpets are stained, the hotel entry is cluttered and grungy, our room smelled weird, and there was pee on the toilet seat in our room...before we ever used the toilet. That means they didn't clean our room's toilet and if they didn't clean the toilet, what else did they neglect? Fortunately, I carry clorox wipes when I travel and I personally wiped down all the surfaces in our room. Oh, and I also found a glue trap under the bed against the wall. I have NEVER stayed in a hotel that had glue traps in the room! Why do they need glue traps?? Mice or bugs, but either way it's unsettling. I understand that all hotels must use pest control, but using glue traps in the room is tacky and disgusting. We felt so gross staying here and absolutely hated it. Unfortunately, it's the nicest hotel in Cut Bank. That's not saying much. Also, the walls are very thin. You can hear everything going on in the hallway and adjacent rooms. I was up until 3 am because of an adjoining room's occupant going in and out of their room all night and allowing the door to slam. We only stayed here because it was close to Glacier National Park. The only thing that got me through this stay was knowing I had a very nice room in Kalispell for the next leg of our trip.
