He wasn't really looking at me, and usually the nice thing to do in retail is say something like "I can help whoever is next." Two other customers come up after maybe a minute (at most) and ask me if I was ready, and he blurts out "I don't know what she's waiting for!" And still doesn't address me directly. It was honestly embarrassing! I walk up and lay my things down on the counter and just explain I wasn't sure, and he cuts me off and says "I didn't know I had to make an announcement." The whole checkout process he is still in a mood and doesn't say anything after I say "thank you" even though he's the one who's been rude. I was (and still am) appalled by this kind of treatment, especially in front of other customers. I'm glad there's other locations to shop at!
