I have sold to this location twice now and I've never been disappointed they offer logical buy out prices that I've always been pleased with, I'll never take my kids items anywhere else to be sold. The atmosphere is nice, sometimes staff are busy but I completely get that, I have bought multiple items from them as well one time even using my buy out as store credit instead and got my kiddos some things that they needed. They have a nice mothers section as well that I would check out if you're expecting you can get most things here for a fraction of their online prices. Highly recommend! read more

I used to go in here a lot constantly to sell items and also shop from them but after yesterday I don't think I will be back. I brought in a pampers box full of clothing some used but most brand new! I brought in 2 brand new with tags outfits from carters that I paid $18 a piece for, 3 long sleeve shirts that were brand new with tags that I paid 11 dollars a piece for, a car seat toy that was used one time and in mint condition that I paid $31 dollars for brand new, and an infant floaty that was in mint condition used one time and I paid $38 brand new for it. When I came back in after they said my order was done processing. They wanted to give me $27 for it all???? Seems like they just wanna get away with getting things for cheap and still trying to sell them for almost full price there. This place has some great deals. Some used items are a bit pricy but they do carry some higher end gently used products!! Staff is super friendly , I stopped here for a gift for my God-daughter. Love their selection. Everything is laid out really well in a clean organized manner. Items are catalogued as they come in so the staff can help you find specific items. I have to admit that we love this place! We've been coming here since they opened and have never been disappointed with anything. They always seem to have a great staff and for as much stuff as they have, the store is always clean and in order. I can't even fathom the amount of money that we've spent at this place over the past 5+ years. One of the great things is they not only have clothing for all ages of kids but for expecting mothers as well! This has been another life saver for us being able to shop for the wife, when pregnant, and the kids as well in the same place. My favorite place to shop for my kids! Love getting acknowledged when I walk in the door. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They seem to always have a new selection every time. This has to be one of my favorite resale shops of all time. The staff here provide amazing customer service. They greet you when you come in and they thank you when you leave. I have sold to them many times and have gotten a fair price for my clothes and baby equipment. We have decided to not have any more kids and this place has allowed us to turn all of our baby clothes and gear into cash. They also will pay store credit which gives us even more money and has allowed us to get new clothes without even spending any money. Talk about a lifesaver when money gets tight. All of the items we have purchased have been in excellent condition and we have never found any stains on any of the clothes. IT IS NEARLY impossible to consign here, they change their policies weekly and have made receiving your payout , very, very inconvenient for you. It has been over 2 months requesting a check from them, they flagged it themselves deeming it suspicious, they didn't think the seal looked correct- FOR GOD's SAKES they are the ones handing out request forms. I have never written a negative review but after a frustrating phone call telling me that I have to come to the shop again, get a new form and send it again for a 3rd time for the SAME REQUEST has pushed me over the limits. I visited the Ankeny location on Delaware. First, I stood for several minutes ungreeted even after shouting into the back so I left. I came back an hour later with a 20 gallon plastic tote with a lid of brand name gently used children's clothing to consign/sell. After I decided to sell the items rather than become a consignor, I was treated like a piece of garbage and told that I had "way too many items" and "no one would be able to look at my items" and "even our PAYING consignors don't bring in that many items" and "it's too big of a risk for us"-yes, with attitude I was told these things even though their website does not mention that a 20 gallon tote is an unacceptable amount of clothing to bring in and features a female employee sitting on and around five 30 gallon tubs on the consign/sell page. Seriously?! I will NOT waste my time or efforts at this place again! read more

I shop in here all the time for my three kids and always find good deals. I find lots of stuff, especially on their $1 rack, that fit my family's price range. Last time I was shopping in here with my family, there was a toy that my oldest son had been wanting for many months. I hadn't gotten it for him yet because it was $25 brand new in stores but it was at Me 'N Mommy To Be for $9.99! After it was rung up, the girl at the register let me know it was on sale on top of that! My son was very excited, and I was relieved to find this at a much better price. read more

Really bad customer service. I had never been to a store like this before and I was treated rather coldly. They were quite condescending after I told them I wanted buy-out and not consignment. Then they said my items were more than 3 years old when most were not. I was told to leave the clothes and that they would call me in 24 hours once they were able to go through them. I got a call 2 days later and was told that my clothes were going to be donated elsewhere if I didn't come and pick them up in the next hour because it was my fault for not staying in the store at the time of drop off. Now remember the girl at the front desk had told me to go home and I would receive a call. Then the lady on the phone basically called me a liar because she said that the new girl who told me I would get a call was never trained to say that. Lots of other little things handled wrong also- just a general lack of communication and then what communication was done was handled very smugly. Not the kind of people I want to do business with, nor will I again. Very disappointing. read more
