When my husband and I began shopping around for our wedding entertainment, we looked at a number of different vendors who offered a variety of services, but everything seemed to come with a small catch. i.e. "The DJ IS the MC. We'll send one person." "We don't do lighting packages. That's up to the venue." "For your photo booth, we can fit 15 people, but you'll only get one print per group." Well I'm happy to say that, when you book with Epic, not only do they do pretty much EVERYTHING, they are more interested in catering to your needs than they are about fitting your wedding into a pre-made "box." We were able to get a full lighting package with a dedicated lighting engineer, a DJ, an (absolutely amazing) MC (Justin), two amazing photographers, an open air photo booth with a dedicated photo technician, unlimited prints (and a backup printer), and A to Z service that covered (and I emphasize this word again) EVERYTHING. When you sign up with Epic, you get access to an online portal that acts as a direct line from you to the entire Epic team. From there, we were able to fill in our intro pairs (groomsmen and bridesmaids, etc.), our song selections, and our photo requests (we wanted family photos on the dance floor). And whenever we had a question, Epic was always a phone call or an email away. Over the course of 14 long months, we always received prompt, fantastic service. I can say with the utmost sincerity that Epic Events was one of the most important factors in making our wedding fun, memorable, and, well, EPIC.

I had to go into panic mode and ultimately find alternative lighting solutions through another vendor, which I know we will be extremely satisfied with. After the 4th excuse and extension for more time for even a simple quote, you have to wonder if these people are in the right business in the first place. 2 weeks later, still receiving excuses that a quote is coming "tomorrow". (Which we've heard 4 times now). We don't waste our breath or time responding that we've already signed with another vendor. But you keep working on that quote Justin take a week, a moth, a year, you just keep working towards it. Does the fact that this is a same sex wedding have anything to do with the runaround tactics, I don't know but it's something I've definitely wondered about.

While we might be a bit biased, our guests confirmed it, saying they'd "never seen such an empty room of tables because everyone was on the dance floor!" Guests couldn't stop raving about how they couldn't leave the dance floor and had endless compliments for both the DJ and MC. We had Mike as our MC, and while we don't recall the DJ's name, he was phenomenal. I know some reviews mentioned DJs not playing requested songs, and while a few of our requests weren't played, we're actually so thankful for that. After all, we hired a DJ to read the room, not just follow a playlist--and he nailed it! Every song he played was exactly what the moment called for, keeping the energy high and the floor packed all night long. I was married on 10/7/2023 and Details Made Simple (Carla) made sure it was the most beautiful, and least anxiety provoking day. I had previously booked a Day Of Coordinator in March 2023. This DOC promised me the world and more for my October 2023 wedding. We'll fast forward to August 2023 meeting with my venue, I was alone and freaking out. My DOC (not Carla) bailed on me for the venue meet, and made me feel like I was panicking for no reason with a timeline that will be formulated week before wedding. (Again not Carla) Thanks to my maid of honor coming through with an amazing recommendation, I was given Carlas's number after feeling defeated and upset with my previous DOC not supporting me or showing up for me when necessary. After 2 hour conversation with myself and my mom, I immediately felt at ease with Carla. My concerns were validated as "No way should a timeline be started 1 week before event". With many tears had during our initial conversation, that night I slept the best I had in all my wedding planning with Carla coming to my rescue and the rest is history. Details Made Simple is just that, Details Made Simple. From hiring (DMS) that August evening to my wedding on October 7, 2023, I was in The best hands Possible!!! We had a few phone calls in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and the month leading up to the wedding, myself and Carla were in contact regularly. She never hesitated to answer and email, a text or a phone call. I received updated timelines in my email on the regular, she contacted any vendors with whatever tasks were still not done, to her absolutely loving on my 3 year old niece on my wedding day, Carla was like having an extremely organized "family"member take charge and make sure myself, my husband and my bridal party had nothing to worry about on the wedding day. She was really excited to have something different for her guests :) The staff was really friendly and nice to the guests and were punctual in their arrival and set up. Dave is the main guy who owned the company and he was professional and serious about the quality of his products. Also because he had additional staff people with him, rather than one person who runs everything, his workers actually were around to walk around to the tables make sure those who didn't get to the booth got a chance before the night was out. I know she had some other options originally (because we also had friends who offered photo type services at weddings), but i'm glad she went with the flip books. These were really cool and a nice quality feel. I hadn't seen anything like it (and I've been to 6 weddings just these past 6 months..). We had a lot of fun that night and even got the busy bride in some of the pictures! There were some fun props so we got to take tons of pictures! Maybe too many..lol =P Don't know that I'm getting married anytime soon, but I would recommend them!!

As someone who used to be a stagehand, and also just a person who's been to weddings where the entertainment just gets it wrong, I had VERY high standards when it came to selecting a DJ for my wedding. It's what makes or breaks your event. LJDJs won me over at that expo, and after I did my due diligence of interviewing a few of the other big names in our area, I knew LJDJs was still a level above. As a covid bride, I couldn't be more thankful to have had Jack Bermeo and LJDJs on my team. Throughout many postponements and a ton of changes, Jack was always my hype man, quick to adjust to the changes and totally got my vision. To us, he quickly became a friend. Coming off my wedding last night, I could not have been more happy with Jack and the team. The vision was executed flawlessly, the dance floor was full all night, and the biggest testament to our partnership with Jack is that I don't think a single guest had to request a song all night. Every song choice and transition was just everything. I also requested with my setup a live freestyle saxophonist, something that I think makes any and every song punchier and brings such a vibey energy. The guests had a blast and Jack kept everyone on the dance floor! The photo booth was sort of a last minute addition and we're so happy we decided to add it! The photo booth attendant was so kind and patient! The photographer and videographer were also very, very patient with me. I wanted specific pictures/videos and they made sure to do just that. Iveley was great, he always checked to make sure anything we needed was taken care of before our wedding. Everyone showed up early to setup and get pictures and videos done.
