Buc-ee's is more than a gas station... it's an experience! This one sits a little past halfway on the Nashville-to-Atlanta drive, so a lot of us hit it often, and that's my main gripe: it is way, way too crowded. Almost every visit, even off-peak, there's traffic just getting off the highway and into the lot. They don't manage it well for a lot this size, and it always feels like you're one distracted driver away from a fender bender. Parking is tough, sometimes requiring circling around or parking far away. I come here mostly for the clean bathrooms, so having to wait in line for the women's restroom on two recent visits felt outrageous given there must be fifty stalls in there. Inside, weird and tasty snacks galore. Everyone says get the brisket and jerky, but insiders know the breakfast burritos are the true star, fresh-made flour tortillas and all. The highlight of my last stop was dill pickle sour straws, handed out as samples, excellent. The sugar-roasted candied pecans look tempting but are rarely actually fresh and warm at this location, which is frustrating. Then there's a warehouse-worth of home goods, clothing, house supplies, and anything you can print a Bucc-ee on. The t-shirts are my favorite, absurdly soft, my fave for sleeping in. This spot is ultimately still a classic Buc-ee's experience. But the crowds and the traffic and the general hassle make me think twice about stopping. Gas here is cheap, though not the cheapest on the route.

This location features 16 pumps, Grab and Go, coffee station and yogurt station. The foot print of this location is smaller than others, but it is nicely laid out and well stocked. The store is in good condition. Inside was clean and well taken care, but the exterior pump areas could use some attention. Surprisingly the restrooms were small, the men's room had one stall and one urinal, so a line formed fairly easily. Service was friendly and helpful. Overall, solid RaceTrac location!

This station is in a beautiful area with green hills/mountains in all directions right off the highway. At first glance it's ones of those cool stations with hot food, drinks, snacks etc but when you walk up to the coffee machine that stops. The coffee machine has beans on top and no buttons so I was stumped for a couple seconds looking it over, Ah it's a touch screen machine. The unit grinds the beans for each fresh cup of coffe and behind it is the Coffey fixings bad with everything you can imagine. I will say this was the best gas station coffee that I have ever had, better than most restaurants. There is a Swirl frozen treat station with a topping bar which is cool, a complete frozen treat stop. This was the coolest gas station that I have been to by far.

So we checked our receipt or online receipt to make sure the name was right it was we gave them the order number they finally found our pizza and she was like oh it'll be a few more minutes ended up being 20 more minutes after we got there and they had 30 minutes before that to get the pizza ready and done so it took them almost an hour to get our pizza and finally when they motion for us to come in to get the pizza it was cold and hardly had any cheese on it it was a margarita pizza. The first time two weeks ago when we got pizza from there it was good but the staff was still not very knowledgeable and had problems finding our food so all in all the staff is the problem it seems like they're lazy , past two times we've gone in they're just standing around not doing a thing and nobody wanted to come greet us. The two associates were not very friendly and oddly kept to themselves, even when ringing out customers. Cleanliness could use some focus as well, as the restrooms were a bit rough. Overall, I'm a fan of RaceTrac's and wouldn't mind stopping back by this location again.

They even have a small cafe where they make fresh foods for breakfast & lunch. Anything from pizza to deli to diner type options. Consistently good food whatever you choose. Staff within the store, as well as, in the cafe have always been super friendly, helpful & willing to accommodate. Opens at 6 AM during the week & 7 AM on the weekends. 7 days a week. The only convenience store we go to in this area of Ellijay!
