This RaceTrac sits a few blocks off of 75 in Dalton and is a solid stop for a fillup and snacks on a road trip. This location features 16 pumps, Grab and Go, coffee station and yogurt station. The foot print of this location is smaller than others, but it is nicely laid out and well stocked. The store is in good condition. Inside was clean and well taken care, but the exterior pump areas could use some attention. Surprisingly the restrooms were small, the men's room had one stall and one urinal, so a line formed fairly easily. Service was friendly and helpful. Overall, solid RaceTrac location! read more

We love RaceTrac to stop at on the road. They have fresh ground coffee. I'm usually a tea drinker since decaf is a waste unless it's really good. Funny to say a gas stations decaf is really good but damnit it is lol. I'm not even a fan of Starbucks. Tastes burned. They have every creamer you can imagine. Soy, almond, half & half and all the flavored ones. Hubby and I can spend a good ten minutes debating which snack to waste calories on. Him sugary, me salty. This is the place to get gas here in Dalton. Mostly, because they are usually the cheapest. One great convenient thing about this place is that they are right next to three chicken restaurants which I really like. They are also on the same side of the road which is on the right side a convenience if you are coming from the Interstate and driving into Dalton. By the way, the three restaurants are Chick Fil A, KFC, and Panda Express. So I eat at one of these places and get my gas here on my way to Atlanta. read more

I was returning from Orlando, FL to Chattanooga, TN and I stopped here for fuel. (I couldn't find this place under gas stations because it wasn't categorized that way. Ugggh.) I had stopped down the street at Wendy's days earlier so I remembered that it was there. RaceTrac is all over Orlando and they're reasonably trustworthy. Given that it was the evening before Thanksgiving Day, I wanted to make sure I had gasoline. Who knew what stations would be open the next day, right? It didn't like my debit card--and it specifically asked. I tried "yes, it's a debit card" and two different options, and "no, it's not a debit card" and couldn't get it to work. I asked inside and rather than just scan it there, he went to the pump with me. He got it working and went back inside. At the end, it could not print a receipt, so I went inside. He was a bit surprised, and probably annoyed by this time, and printed a receipt and told me to get any drink I wanted. Bad machine, good people. Very clean store and bathrooms. They have a soft serve ice cream bar with a bunch of toppings which is a nice change from the typical road trip foods. They also have a good selection of drinks and other snacks (including fresh and hot options). Good stop! read more

I went here at midnight. Bright fueling station. Absolutely no complaints there. Pump even worked quickly. The station goes into lockdown at that hour. This means that you can't buy anything inside. If you're planning on stopping here for provisions at night, don't. You won't get any. It's somewhat easy on/off of 75. read more
