An insurance company is only as good as its ability to pay legitimate claims. You pay out premiums, you need to be assured, if you ever need the company they will be there for you. Mapfre, from my experience is not one of them. After injuries incurred as a pedestrian on the sidewalk/pavement, I have provided photographs, doctor's reports, detailed list of treatment bills yet after over 2 years this company does not even answer emails. I now have to hire a lawyer to sue the car owner. Best to pick a company that you know will be there if you have an accident. That is, after all, what you pay premiums for. read more
