The sales people are rude to each other and the management are worse. Your time is of no consequence to them - you can just wait. When I tried to communicate my dissatisfaction to senior management at the dealership they said they would get back to me - never heard from them. They had no idea how to properly handle my trade and wouldn't provide me the car I wanted because a senior management's wife wanted to drive it more a few months. Won't buy from them again and may not even keep the Subaru. That is how disappointed I am with Subaru of Maple. Buy your car somewhere else, you'll thank me.

Needless to say, huge charges and afterwards I realized I was being suckered, (my fault for trusting). A year later, I had a battery problem, took it to them (due to convenience), but only allowed them to work on that issue. They confirmed I needed a new battery. My battery was under warranty for replacement through Subaru in the US, where I originally purchased the vehicle. This dealer refused to honour the warranty. I took it to Willowdale Subaru and they were wonderful. They confirmed with Subaru that the warranty was honoured in Canada, and replaced the battery for no charge. Never use Subaru of Maple for service!!

Review for the Purchase of a New 2024 VW GLI…read more Sales - 5/5 I found the vehicle I liked, contacted the sales department, and Impreet was assigned to my deal. Dealing with Impreet was easy -- he was professional, understood what I wanted, and knew the product well. We were able to put a deal together fairly quickly without any issues or misunderstandings, which proves he appreciates customers' time and understands their needs. Highly recommend Impreet to anyone who values time and appreciates honesty. Documentation - 1/5 After the deal was finalized, I had to arrange some paperwork such as insurance, bank details, etc., which I emailed to Arty. I also advised that I wouldn't be taking any additional insurance or coverage and requested the documentation be prepared so I could stop by, sign ahead of time, and schedule delivery. I did not receive any response via email. I then called several times but was unable to reach Arty, so I had to visit the dealership in person. All I can say is, when we met, I felt a very unfriendly attitude. I get it -- if you're not interested in any add-ons, you're not a good customer since no commission is generated. Delivery - 2/5 The vehicle was set for delivery on a weekday evening. When I arrived and inspected the vehicle, I found a few stone chips, including one on the front driver's door, along with polishing marks and poor detailing. I notified the delivery person but was told nothing could be done and that someone would contact me the next day. The least I expected was a simple apology -- I understand the world isn't perfect. Keep in mind the vehicle was brand new; if it were used, my expectations would have been much lower. On the positive side, the front license plate holder was not installed, and I was asked if I wanted it installed. So, if you're someone who prefers side plate holders, your front bumper won't be drilled automatically. Post-Delivery & Service - 3/5 As promised, I received a call from Domenic the next day. He was very straightforward and professional. I explained the delivery issues and was asked to leave it with him for a resolution. Detailing was not a problem -- Domenic told me to bring the vehicle in, which I did, and I have no complaints there. However, the issue with the paint chip on the driver's door remained. We went back and forth on it. As compensation, I asked Domenic to touch up the chip as best as possible and throw in a set of winter mats. He took the request to his manager and came back with another offer -- the dealership had a similar vehicle on the lot and could swap the door. I agreed, with one condition: it must not affect any electrical functions. Spoiler alert -- it did. We agreed on a date, and I dropped off the vehicle. A loaner was provided. The door swap was done by a third-party body shop in a timely manner -- no complaints there. However, my saga was just beginning. After the swap, I started having issues with the memory seat and mirror functions. I later found out the door came from a lower-trim GLI that didn't have those features. The issue required multiple visits to the dealership and leaving the car each time. Again, a rental was provided. After several attempts -- which included replacing modules, harnesses, and programming -- the issues were finally resolved. On at least two occasions, I was told the issue couldn't be duplicated and the vehicle was ready for pickup. Thankfully, I work nearby and was able to come in and demonstrate the problems myself. Special thanks to Taylor (Warranty Manager), who was very polite and understanding throughout the process. Unfortunately, everything mentioned above took a lot of time -- and time equals money. I hope your experience will be smoother than mine. P.S. I requested my service history (work orders) via email from both Taylor and Domenic, and also asked for a follow-up. I received no replies. Once again, I had to visit the dealership in person just to get the paperwork. I genuinely wanted to leave a solid 4-star review, but this final lack of response stopped me.

Horrendous experience...Please take the time to read!…read more Initial experience with purchasing a used 2021 Atlas was excellent. Amazing staff, willing to work with us and create a good initial first impression. Fast forward to picking the vehicle up. Due a cracked windshield they needed some extra time to replace it. Totally understandable. A day and time was agreed upon for pick up. On the day and time agreed upon, that decided to call AT THAT TIME to tell us that the vehicle was not ready. No communication whatsoever and not even an apology as it was an hours drive to get to the dealership. Another day is agreed upon. We confirmed numerous times. My husband arrives. They spend an extortionate amount of time putting in the windshield, only to come out and say that...wait for this one...the rearview mirror wont adhere to the windshield. Ok...this was a first for us but here were are. So they duct tape the rear view mirror to the windshield as we now have to get ANOTHER windshield installed but have to wait a week before doing so. They then come up with the great idea of trying to get us to drive to an independent location for the windshield installation because they don't want to do it in house. Which is really their responsibility. We insisted on going back to the dealership for them to remedy this. Trip number three. My husband arrives at the dealership. Staff were rude, dismissive and downright annoyed that they were there to do their job. 4 hours later, the person in charge of fixing the windshield tells my husband that its no longer his problem from this point on, tosses the keys, and says to take up any issues with the manager. And guess what? The rearview mirror still wasn't adhering properly. So. Do not shop here if you value good customer service and quality workmanship or even half decent communication. Horrendous experience.

I've been to Maple Mazda both for service and to purchase a car. If you leave your car for service,…read moresomeone will drive you and pick you up from nearby locations. I generally only come here when I need more than an oil change. I find that the service department always tries to upsell services. For instance, one year I was told by Maple Mazda that I needed new shocks, which I declined. A year later, the service inspection report from Maple Mazda indicated that the shocks were fine. Either the person who stated I needed shocks was upselling, or the person who indicated that the shocks were fine didn't check. A few months ago, I visited Maple Mazda for a test drive. I test drove a similar car, but not the one I wanted, so I left my contact information. Months passed and no one contacted me. I went back and talked to a different sales person and indicated that I was ready to purchase if the price was right. The first price was essentially retail pricing. The second offer was below what I was expecting, so I took the deal. I was only interested in a cash deal, so we only talked about the out-the-door price. I also had a trade-in, where I had a pre-existing offer from a mechanic. The dealership provided a low-ball offer and once I revealed that I had an offer, they were willing to match it. The sales person dealt with the new car purchase price and the trade-in price separately, which was great. When it came time to put the numbers together, the sales person didn't get the math right, so I had to explain how I arrived at my numbers based on the agreed-upon purchase price and trade-in price. Although he said the math made sense, he couldn't get it to work out. The sales manager came by, fixed it, and found other mistakes that resulted in additional discounts. Although there were some snags along the way, I thought the car buying experience was very good. The first meeting with the finance manager was fairly easy. He said he isn't pushy and it was true during the first meeting. However, once my car arrived and the dealership was preparing it, I received a call from the finance manager to ask if I was interested in rust proofing and extended warranty. We had the same discussion when I arrived to pick up the car. I may have been interested in the extended warranty if the price was right, but the finance manager didn't provide much of a discount so I kept declining. I had to sign the bill of sale 3 different times. Once when I agreed to purchase the car, once when I first talked to the sales manager, and again when I picked up the car. Just make sure that all the numbers are right and that any agreements on extras are written in and transferred between various versions of the bill of sale. I asked the dealership to get new license plates for the car along with new license plate stickers. It cost $189, which is only $10 more than if you were to do it yourself. I thought the extra $10 was worth it to avoid going to Service Ontario. Overall, I thought the car buying experience was very good. The service department is decent, but I always feel like they're trying to upsell services.

He had his first Tesla done from their old location and just recently had his 2nd Tesla done at the new location here in Richmond Hill. My wife made a lot of inquiries and spoke to Daniel, Joe, and Dishon. All of whom we find very professional and helpful. In fact, his entire crew was very courteous and provided us details whenever we had questions. Being our first time in having PPF done on a car, they understood what we needed and explained the process. We felt so comfortable that we've decided to have them do the full body exterior PPF with Xpel, and added the infusion exterior and interior (ceramic coating). The car looks amazing! I initially wanted the Satin PPF, but this is way better, because its wet and shiny look. I should also add that during our wait (6 days - we were in no rush), we bought the Tux Mat for the car, and asked them if they can put it in for us. With no hesitation they agreed, and mind you those mats takes time to install! A few weeks later I went back because I bought a spoiler and didn't want to install it myself since the car was already ceramic coated I've asked if they can help me prepare the body and install the spoiler for us. Again, they didn't hesitate and was happy to go the extra mile and have it PPF and install it for me too! AMP Motorsports before and after service was top notch! Starting from Daniel, to Dishon and the rest of the team they were professional to the point! I would refer all my friends and family here if they need to get PPF or auto detailing done.

I told him I had the parts, and if it would be possible to pass by within an hour from them to quickly replace if they are available. He said something along the lines of "using other people's parts isn't in our policy (I wonder why else other than to overcharge customers on parts and/or liability reasons) but we'll make an exemption, we'll see what we can do". Took the truck in, and Larry called me back saying I needed to order more parts and come back another day. I said ok no problem. I ordered and picked up the parts a couple of days later. Today I called again, saying the same thing, "if you have time can I tell my driver to pass by soon" he said "sure come at 9:00". My driver arrives in the truck, the do the job as requested (took 1 hour, started at 9 and finished at 10), and I received the invoice, $230.88. They charge me for 1.3 hours, when he sent me the invoice BEFORE 1.3 hours had even occurred. I brushed it off, then found a $9 environmental charge as well. Just to replace two hinges. I brushed it off and my driver messaged me he's waiting for the keys, and that they told him they will give him the keys after I pay the invoice. Now, I had previously done work with Larry a month or two ago, where I paid the invoice a couple days after receiving the invoice, so this caught me by suprise, he seemed like a very nice guy. I called Larry, and asked him nicely to give the keys to my driver, he said I will not until I pay. Unfortunately at the moment, I had $100 available, with around $3000 waiting on hold in my bank account, I told him the situation and he hit me with "it's our policy". After I heard this, I told him he was being unreasonable, and he proceeded to raise his voice and yell at me over the phone. I then told him I can pay half ($100) right now, and the rest the next day, when my cheque cleared. I even offered to send him proof. He refused, and said I would have to wait until then to pickup the truck. I couldn't wait, as the truck has a daily route at 11:30 everyday, and it was around 10:30. I called him a hypocrite (in a firm conversational tone), citing his past work, and mentioned how I payed a previous invoice a day or two later, with no hitch at all. He raised his voice even more, was surprised that I called him a hypocrite, and hung up. I then had to ask my dad to lend me $130, just so Larry can release the keys. I payed the invoice, called him and said I payed it, and am not hanging up until you give the keys to my driver. He confirmed I payed, but told me to "cut the shit" or something along those lines, and hung up. All in all, if he mentions "policy" to you, he's BSing. You should never raise your voice to a customer when they are being respectful, you should never add charges or random "policies" to a customer because you are upset you didn't get to charge them for parts, and you should be reasonable to an honest respectful customer when that customer has been nothing but respectful to you. Don't trust Larry, I hope he learns from this situation. He lost out on %100 of my trucks maintenance needs plus any other mechanic need I had. Even my driver knew Larry was being ridiculous. My apologies for the soap opera review, I like to include all context for a clear picture for anyone reading this. Have a great day
