They advertise a pet friendly community but by hiring this company that is not true! OPP reviews your ESA documents and comes back declining the legal letter stating you obtained it incorrectly and then switches your dog from ESA animal to a regular pet and if it is a restricted breed they inform you that either you get rid of your beloved family member or move. Forcing you to move even though your dog was accepted prior to Edward Rose hiring Out Pet Policy to handle pet documentation allowing you to have your dog and accepting the ESA legal letter. Ridiculous. Stay away!!! Our Pet Policy is illegally doing this to people who have legal verifiable documentation. With going with OPP Edward Rose is forcing people to move out of a community that they called home for which I did but no longer. The office staff/maintenance is great.

We always rented from Forest Mall Apartments when we were back in town for six months. The on-site…read moremanagers were wonderful. They made sure we had a unit even if it was not perfect. We could always depend on them. Then the complex was sold to a new owner (about a month after we had signed a lease with the old owners) Feldman Real Estate. I have to say they are crooks. They charged us for keys that were returned and a door that was damaged when we moved in under the old owners. It was suppose to have been fixed and I'm sure it would have been had they not gotten rid of Jace a month after we moved in. I made many attempts to recover the missing security deposit, having to call the Milwaukee offices. They lied about when our keys were returned and the door damage was an instant write off for me as I was in Arizona and didn't have in move in slip. I realize 166.00 is not a huge amount but the fact that we were never late on rent and left the unit better than when we moved in makes it the principle to me. In my eyes it shows the type of owners they are. I have always said great things about these apartments but not anymore. If you do move in, take pictures, document every service call and make sure you have records for everything if you intend not get ripped off when you move out. It's very sad I can't continue to recommend these apartments to other friends. however this real estate company has made it impossible to give a good review.

They never kept the grounds cleaned, they let anyone, including criminals, move in. I could never get through to management to get anyone to fix anything or to report an issue with any of the neighbors. I was attacked by one of the tenants that was on drugs. They never fixed anything in my apartment completely. They never answer their phone. No management is on site all week long so you can never reach anyone in person either. Homeless people lived behind the dumpsters quite often. They raised the rent on me by 300 dollars without notifying me. No communication or care for tenants at all. NEVER rent from Friar House Flats, you will be miserable. It was the worst 3 years of my life.

The "free wifi" is also extremely unreliable and has been out for over a month at a time. Maintenance requests are rarely completed on time, and the office is either severely understaffed or inefficient.
