There are various vendors that sell locally prepared products and locally grown produce, flowers, mushrooms, and honey. There is often times a food truck/beverage truck as well. I bought some fresh cucumbers, asparagus and granola. The granola was delicious and savory. They offered samples to try before buying. There was a Boba food truck out Boca Boba, it was absolutely delicious and refreshing for this sweltering hot day!

Way more vendors and food than I expected honestly, good energy the whole way through. First thing we did was hit Food With Yoo for hotteok. I got the pork bulgogi one and she got the O.G. with the cinnamon sugar and walnuts. Watched them make them fresh right there. Both really good. Then we stopped at the 4 Hands stand, I got a beer and she grabbed a bottled Fitz's. My beer was good but man, that Fitz's tasted like a non alcoholic beer lol. Neither of us liked it at all. We walked around for a while after that and ended up splitting a bánh mì from Grand Army Farm, the traditional one with the pork belly, Vietnamese sausage, pickled carrots, cucumber, jalapeño and cilantro. On the way out we grabbed a pint of the Lemon Curd ice cream from Bold Spoon Creamery to take home. Ate it that night, really good. Only real complaints are it was VERY hot and parking was kind of a mess at 10:30. There's parking, you just have to circle for it. We actually left our dog at home because we didn't know if it was pet friendly. There were dogs literally everywhere lol so that was a mistake. He's coming next time. 5 stars. Really nice Saturday morning date and there's still a bunch of stalls we never got to. We'll be back earlier next time, with the dog.

Though I found the selection to be a little lacking, but I must admit that end of May when I visited is early in the farmers market season. You are likely to see more produce offerings in July or August. But there were other things like the location of the market within the park being inconvenient for those walking to the market and seemingly the parking situation since I saw a long line of cars slowly driving by the market trying to locate a parking space. Market prices are also high, but comparable to the upscale ones that I find in Seattle. And lastly it was difficult to find a place to sit and eat. I had to walk about half a block away to find a bench. You may want to bring a towel to the market and have a picnic on the grass if you are going to get some food here.

Wait til the later hours of the day.. and every shop will be empty that you went for! I've learned this too many times in my sleep-in days, to get there way too late to find so many of the shops sold out, or the "runts" of the sales left. So figure out Early and then getup before then! Step 3: Get in your car and go shopping!!! (Follow the map of course!) Plain and simple you want fresh produce.. this is where you go. Whether it's veggies,. meats, baked goods, coffee, soaps, sweets, snacks, and even alchy beverages if you so desire! (and you just might as the day goes on) Get there early and load up! (Just warning you, you may have to make a few runs between your shops and your car, considering what you -could- load up on. When you pull in the street, there is parking on the right and the market on the left. They have crossing guards wearing yellow vests directing traffic and people, such a nice touch. I walked around the market getting my bearings and they had a lot of different options. Several different options for farmers with fruit and vegetables, several vendors selling prepared food and drinks, also baked goods, bread, meat, freeze dried candy, jewelry, and more. There is a pavilion with tables and a guy playing music. There are bathrooms in a building as well as a couple of port-a-potty's. Once I scoped everything out, I started purchasing! Veggies from three different places, bread from Baking Blondes, a Burrito from Phat-ass Brisket (so good!), and some hickory smoked salt. I got lucky with the last vendor I visited who still had a few dozen eggs left. This had the great farmers market vibes with people shopping and visiting, lots of families. Great place!
