You have to wash your hands before being seen and they spray down the tables and equipment before you use it. I still see Andy and still really appreciate his help. I see him for my back and knees. I have ongoing low back pain but developed tightness in my upper back that was restricting my breathing and he gave me some new exercises for that that has really helped me to be able to breathe more freely. Andy tailors the exercises to my needs and I have found them to be extremely helpful. He has a wide variety of tools and techniques to adapt to your needs. The dry needling is helpful when my muscles are really tight. If I need to be taped, he will do so. He will show you how to tape yourself as well. I sometimes get heat or ice-with a tens unit (electrical stimulation). If one thing doesn't help, there will be an alternative. The front staff are always friendly and helpful. A bonus is the deer that come down in front of the business to drink water and feed on the tree.

I stumbled upon their webpage after the birth of my first born in 2021-22 after having really bad hip pain with an unremarkable MRI. I first worked with Eddy, and she pretty much saved my life after months-long failed attempt at another PT place. Fast forward, and I've been there for neck/back pain that they resolved (Alex G), and now my foot/ankle (Alex G). They use a thorough and detailed science-backed diagnoses approach, starting with a physical examination, and then you begin working on treatment, usually within the first visit. You're getting a highly skilled and experienced therapist here. Not a 20-something college intern taking direction from a licensed thearpist whom you've only met for five minutes. My husband, after suffering bulging discs from a car accident, has been a patient there for two years to fix his disc issue and improve muscle and strength. Thankfully, they were able to help without him injections or surgery. My MIL is now a patient there after years of doctors unable to help her neck pain. She kind of scoffed when I recommended going here, but she has been singing their praises ever since! This only womp-womp (and this isn't them, it's our countries crappy insurance world) is they do not take insurance - only out of pocket payment (cash, debit, credit). They do provide you with a broken down "Super Bill" that you can provide to your insurance company for payment back. BUT, after my PT deductible increasing to $50/visit and getting NO resolution, I WILL foot the bill here to feel better and improvise my physicality. Smith's multiprong approach makes them TOP TIER in health services. My husband is now working with their nutritionist and attends their open-gym workouts. APT is in a GREAT location (right in the middle of town). Super easy to get to from work and they are pretty accommodating to my stupidly hectic schedule. Parking is convenient and all I have to do when I walk in the door is sign my name to the clipboard and start working. Therapists and trainers listen when I say if something's working or not. They don't make me sit around waiting for them and they don't sit around waiting for me. They push me when I need to be pushed. They don't let me slack off when I'm lazy. They take copious notes about every little thing I tell them and then, surprisingly, they remember when I come in the next time. Environment is fun and they're usually playing some funky music, which makes being there more fun. Most importantly, in my effort to rehab my knee and back, things have started to gradually feel better - not 100% yet - but feel like I'm taking steps to being on that path.

Basically I was charged 3,000.00 for stretching exercises for 3 appointments and there was nothing I could do about it. because no matter what ..it fell under Hospital pricing and I was not made aware of it. Once you attend a appointment ; I was told by thier Business office that once I show up for the appointment I can't dispute anything written down as for as as "services I received".

The atmosphere was super upbeat and cheerful, the providers were friendly and knowledgeable, and it was great to chat with everybody at the office while working on my exercises and receiving treatment. The provider did a great job helping me work towards my goals and getting stronger, and my exercises struck a great balance between working hard, but also not so hard that I ended up in even more pain. He adjusted my exercises based on my pain level. The atmosphere was always pleasant & upbeat. At times 2 other staff members helped me with exercises, frequently saying "Looking good, Peter!" Front office staff was always welcoming and encouraging. I feel so good about my progress and my experience that I have spoken to friends, suggesting that Agility on Pima Street is a fantastic resource!

He was polite, compassionate and kept in constant communication with me while all the paperwork, insurance, expedited authorization was handled. Yesterday I had my first of 18 visits after shoulder surgery with Emily. I instantly felt a rapport with her and genuine care for my recovery. I did not feel rushed.
