At any rate, just so you readers know, this station is better known as Advantage Fuel, and it sits on the southeast corner of Schoolcraft and Evergreen. Now, I know many of you readers are not going to tour the world in search of the best price (considering nowadays it is not cost-effective), but I will say this: if you are in the area and need fuel, this would be the first place to try. Now, about the business. Like many other gas stations nowadys, they offer additional services besides the fuel. They have a small carryout chicken restaurant inside. I have not personally tried it, so I cannot vouch for its quality; however, I know some people who have no complaints about it. Remember though: you get what you pay for, if you're lucky. Second, also like any gas station with the best price, pack your patience when visiting this one, especially during rush hours. Like many other gas stations in Detroit, they have quite a few islands on a rather small parcel of land, it can get rather crowded and difficult to maneuver. If you are pressed for time, there are other gas stations in the area (including a Marathon across the street, a BP two blocks east, and a Sunoco about six blocks east), but you will probably not find a better price. Third, unfortunately, vagrancy can be a bit of a problem here. On my last two visits, I was approached by panhandlers. My best advice to anyone is to ignore them, or simply say ,"I don't have it," and continue about your business. I've always figured that if a good vagrant averaged $0.25 per minute and kept a 40-hour work week, that would amount to roughly $30,000 annually before taxes (and many jobs in the Detroit area do not pay that kind of money these days, at least not for those with little education). At any rate, I would encourage anyone to do their best and deter this kind of activity.

Being a resident of the community I felt that I would speak up in regards to the situation. The Attendant loudly spoke to me saying..."ARE YOU GETTING GAS",.. I said no I wanted my coffee but plz take care of this lady first cause I can wait a little. ""You don't tell me how to run my store and station... SHE CAN WAIT ! ! NEXT !! "" I was really, so I told him I would never support a place that is disrespectful to their customers let alone a woman. I went across the street and got a better experience. The plus... is that I found out that the station across the street employes five people from the community. Since I am all for my community to be employed.... I will support the station that has employed my residents of my community.
