The clerk was VERY rude. I walked in with my children to have them pick out a candy and drink after…read morechurch Sunday. He informed me that they did not take the card I had for payment. I said, "Oh ok, that's fine." And picked up the items to put them all back. and said "I thought I had used it there before. " After saying that he started yelling at me saying it wasn't on the door...I COULDN"T have used it there. I turned around and set the items back on the counter and said since he wanted to be so rude about it he could put everything back. I walked out with my children and started buckling my 3 yr old in his car seat. The clerk comes out the side door and screams.."You'd better not come back to my store or I'll kick your a$$!" My jaw dropped. I looked up and said, "What!?" He repeated it. I told my 12 yr old to stay in the van with his brothers and walked back in the store. I asked why he was treating me and my children that way. He goes, "because we have NEVER taken that card!" I said, "that's fine, I was going to put everything away, until you started yelling at me and being rude." I told him we have rights in America and I have the right to respect just like he does. I walked out and called the customer complaint line. Monday a woman from the Marathon Customer Service Department called and recorded everything. I DO hope he gets fired. What kind of person/man threatens to kick a womans a$$ for the type of payment she's using ESPECIALLY when she has 3 kids with her!!! Never once was I rude, curse or raise my voice.
