Doesn't care about customers. You have to go inside to get a receipt. i don't want to go inside at 6am.

Large, clean Gate with a lot of food items other than your ordinary snacks. They have hot dogs,…read moretamales, tornados (like taquitos), fruit, and sandwiches. They also have a counter along one of the windows with stools so you can sit to eat. I see a lot of construction workers in here eating on their lunch break. Gas is about the cheapest you'll find in the area, so it's a good place to fill up. There are plenty of pumps, so there usually isn't a wait to get to one. They also have free air here for your tires. Then, of course, they have the usual like any convenience store like cigs, soda, beer, and snacks.

Also they have a collection of interesting junk food like Conchas, Mexican sweet bread. With the high foot traffic their coffee is bound to be fresh. If you're into sodas you can buy their refillable cup & your next refill is only 90 cents. I've on a few occasions tried their Tamale. It's not doughy but actually has decent filling. If you're into frozen yogurt they have Yobe. But lookout as a cupful with topping can get quite pricey. I think the reason why their food is decent is they let their employees test their food at their kitchen at the headquarters. My friend who works for Gate shared this with me. It's like their internal focus group. Maybe that's how they keep their food offerings appealing to all. There's so much more to Gate than just gas. Aside from food they also sell lottery & even have blood pressure machine similar to a Higi station at Publix. Lucky me I don't have to go far to take advantage of this convenience store.

Managers - how do you allow your cashiers to be eating food while on the clock and assisting…read morecustomers?! Do they not get breaks to be able to eat? In the past two weeks that I've been here one lady was straight up eating a sandwich while cashing out guests, and another time a different female was eating a bag of Doritos and licking her fingers in between customer cash outs and wiping her hands on her pants. Not only is that disgusting and unsanitary, but your customers don't want their items to be touched by the hands of someone that's been eating at the cashier station and also don't want to be rude and do what should be the manager's job to begin with.

This gas station is large, very conveniently located and open 24 hours, but it could use a few…read moreimprovements and some employees could benefit from more training in customer service. PROS - It is usually fairly clean, has an area to check the air in your vehicle's tires, an area to vacuum and freshen up the interior, a good car wash and a number of parking spaces. If all you need to do is get gas and clean your car, you likely won't even need to go inside the store, especially if you bring cash for the vacuum and put your car wash on your card. Makes things much faster, and is especially helpful when you are in a hurry. CONS - You can get much better coffee and tea at the nearby Starbucks, and it would be worth the extra cost. Much better sandwiches and salads are available at Jersey Mike's next door, Panera, or even Wendy's and it would be well worth the trip. Most of the employees late at night are too busy chatting with others to be helpful, and it is so busy during the day that getting in and out is a real pain. A couple of the employees in particular are surly no matter what shift they are working, which is a real problem that needs to be addressed. Overall - Good for gas, cleaning up your vehicle and grabbing a quick snack or a soda, but not for lunch or coffee, because several other better options are available nearby.
