This Speedway location is the closest gas station to our house and has consistently competitive…read moregasoline prices. It is generally kept clean and the staff are mostly polite and helpful. As a member of Costco I usually fill up there. But there are occasions when I don't want to go that far just for gas and then this Speedway is usually at the top of my list as an alternative. Because they don't have as many pumps as some other stations in the area it can sometimes get rather busy, especially because they normally have lower prices. And when that happens it gets to be a bit tricky getting up to a pump and exiting when you have finished filling your tank. But fortunately, this doesn't occur that often. They also have a mini mart for common items that may save you another stop.

I've also stopped in here occasionally to pick up lottery tickets and they carry quite the variety of them. Their pumps are set up with regular, mid-grade, premium, as well as diesel. They also operate a convenience market for quick purchases of limited items from snacks like candy, chips, soft drinks, and beer, to light grocery items like bread and bananas. But if what they have what you are looking for, it just might save you an additional stop. They are conveniently located on the southeast corner of Opdyke and South Boulevard in Pontiac. I'm not sure of their hours but they have been open pretty much whenever I have driven by.

The pumps are spread out so there is plenty of room to get in and out wherever you find an empty pump in any direction. Since they are all of the ubiquitous Pay-At-The-Pump type of gas pumps, I rarely need to go inside, but when I do, the staff here have always been friendly, helpful, and professional. The grounds, areas around the pumps, as well as in the station itself have always been kept generally clean and inviting. They have their gas prices posted in lighted and easy-to-read numbers. Even the simple details seem to be covered such as always having liquids in the containers for cleaning your windshield, and related to that the scrubber squeegees actually have scrubber material on them so you can get your windshield clean. This is consistently one of the better service stations in the area.
