I repeated it a couple of times, set down everything I'd planned to purchase--including a cup of coffee I had just made--and walked out. I took a photo of the store's exterior to note the address for follow-up. I then went to a nearby competitor, where I received excellent service, thanked them for the experience, and shared my disappointment with Circle K. Visiting South Carolina, this was an unpleasant surprise. After seeing many negative reviews for this location, it's clear there's a serious issue. I'll be adding my own review. At Circle K locations in my area, the staff know how to treat customers well and never make them feel unwelcome.

Since Yemassee is a small town and no search results came up for coffee, I decided to pop in at Marathon before heading out. Our visit was very quick, probably a total of 3 minutes. All I wanted was some coffee for the drive back and it was starting to get gloomy. I grabbed one of the bottled Starbucks coffees and went right to the cash. Some of the features of this station is that there is a Subway to the left, inside the station and they also serve TCBY frozen yogurt. They also sell boxed Krispy Kreme donuts. They have quite a few pumps outside and I don't think large trucks can enter here. I think I remember seeing a sign. They seemed to have all the concessions a regular gas station would, but I didn't pay too much attention, since like I mentioned, I was on a mission to get coffee and get back on the road as fast as we could. Service was fine and quick. I got what I needed and managed to load the kids back up before it started to pour buckets. Decent place to get snacks and drinks for the road, since Yemassee is a real small town and it seems that a big portion of the town is closed on Mondays.

First the Fuel points required you to push a cancel button but their was no cancel button. I got lucky and pushed a button after playing with the different buttons that worked. I saved .30 per gallon but they did not have regular as you can see by my photo. Ridiculous. I saved .30 only to pay at least that in higher tess gas than I wanted in the first place. Needless to say I think I will skip this spot and find a BP somewhere else along the highway next time.
