I wanted Subway, the slightly healthier option, and my husband chose McDonald's. While he used the app to place his order, I stood at the counter to order my sub. There was a young lady there who greeted us with a smile and overheard me asking my husband what day of the week it was. She immediately knew I was checking to see what "The Meal Deal of the Day" was. It was the Hot Honey Pepperoni. She went to the back to let the Sandwich Artists know that they had a customer. The two young men emerged from the back with a lack of enthusiasm but came over to glove-up and help me. I asked for the Turkey Titan on wheat. They were out of wheat bread, so I chose the Herb & Cheese bread and asked for the rounded end to be cut off. He repeated my request slowly in the form of a question, so I explained what I meant. He must have never received that request before. I also asked for mayo on the bread, rather than on the meat, which is what they usually do. Lastly I requested that my 6" sub be cut in half. He completed my sub and slid it into a bag with no napkins, so I retrieved some myself. Then we moved into the convenience store area and grabbed some 2/$3 small cans of Pringles, a couple bottles of Calypso fruit drinks, and I couldn't resist the overpriced gas station Tornado (Southwest Chicken & Cheese). It was $2.99. Had I known that, I would not have purchased it. After using the restroom, my husband and I went over to McDonald's to pick up his order. The timing was perfect. Then she was the one that rang me out, again, not talking to me. I thought that maybe she was just quiet and shy. This review is for the employees…read more It's a gas station. It's typical. Gas. Snacks. Convenient store food. This particular gas station is right off the Bluegrass Parkway in Lawrenceburg so it tends to stay busy. There are a few other gas stations around there but the employees at this one are always friendly. I notice it and if I'm anywhere near needing gas, I stop in there each time I'm passing through.
