This was a convenient location to fuel up, grab lunch, purchase snacks, and use the restroom. After filling our gas tank, we went inside for food. I wanted Subway, the slightly healthier option, and my husband chose McDonald's. While he used the app to place his order, I stood at the counter to order my sub. There was a young lady there who greeted us with a smile and overheard me asking my husband what day of the week it was. She immediately knew I was checking to see what "The Meal Deal of the Day" was. It was the Hot Honey Pepperoni. She went to the back to let the Sandwich Artists know that they had a customer. The two young men emerged from the back with a lack of enthusiasm but came over to glove-up and help me. I asked for the Turkey Titan on wheat. They were out of wheat bread, so I chose the Herb & Cheese bread and asked for the rounded end to be cut off. He repeated my request slowly in the form of a question, so I explained what I meant. He must have never received that request before. I also asked for mayo on the bread, rather than on the meat, which is what they usually do. Lastly I requested that my 6" sub be cut in half. He completed my sub and slid it into a bag with no napkins, so I retrieved some myself. Then we moved into the convenience store area and grabbed some 2/$3 small cans of Pringles, a couple bottles of Calypso fruit drinks, and I couldn't resist the overpriced gas station Tornado (Southwest Chicken & Cheese). It was $2.99. Had I known that, I would not have purchased it. After using the restroom, my husband and I went over to McDonald's to pick up his order. The timing was perfect. I would like to see them carry LG ice bags so I don't have to buy so many small ice bags and make so many trips to the car but other than that....it was a good stop. We stopped in Loves Saturday morning and they were super busy. I was able to get a gas pump with little problems because they have so many out there!! The coffee and soda fountain area looked nice with several choices and I noticed a McDonald's attached to them as well. Don't recommend going to this loves travel stop the shower floors are black with mold there is mice in the subway kitchen area . When I used to work there they hired an employee that was not fully there and he cut tomatoes with no gloves on and served them to customers the manager TOMMY is a manipulator and conniving to his employees 100% don't recommend. read more

#7-2021 unfortunately I have to drop the store down two stars. not for the subway but for the travel store itself covid safety measures are not being followed by all the employees. some wearing masks some half wearing masks touchpoint cleaning is not being followed properly according to what it's supposed to be done bathroom checks are not being made in a timely manner. as their announced supposedly every hour to get the restrooms done. I was eating in the subway and unfortunately from the time I heard them say can I please get a courtesy check on the men's and women's restrooms when I got done eating, I went to the can to go wash my hands after I ate and two of the three paper towel dispensers were empty. trash was all over the floor you could clearly see they ignored it unfortunately a lot of the loves are doing this which is a shame. the coffee bar area was not very presentable a lot of sticky crap all over the place from creamers not being wiped up. so the reason for two big star drops from last time I did this review and this is over the course of visiting probably two or three times over the last five months. read more

This is off the Waddy/ Peyton exit off I-64 and the gas seems to be cheaper than the Louisville gas exits. Their is a McDonalds and a Subway at this gas stop center. The shop and store seems clean as any other travel stop. The gas was 2.11 here and the gas in Lexington now is 2.25. read more

Located just off I-64 at Waddy Peytona Exit the fuel price here are usually less than in Louisville or Lexington and you can see price on the sign from quite a distance. I made a quick stop here for gasoline l and the price was 20 cents per gallon less. I only purchased fuel did not check out the store or restrooms. read more

Closest thing to home, and always reliable and clean. Even on the busiest days when the place is packed, there's always a place to park! There's a Subway and a McDonald's here. Lines for fasy food can get long and wait times can be a bit extended during peak feeding frenzies, but service is always friendly. In the main shop, where they have drinks, snack, and other weird stuff (no alcohol, fyi!), the line moves fast even when it's real busy! The bathrooms here are kept clean and well stocked. I love Love's! Between work obligations and personal trips, I am constantly traveling. If I spot a Love's Travel Stop from the interstate, I will usually convince myself to make a stop. The bathrooms are super clean and tidy with an abundance of stalls. I believe there are showers & laundry facilities available for truck drivers. The selection of beverages is massive- bottled teas and Cokes of all varieties, fountain drinks, and hot coffee & tea options. Snacks range from the standard potato chips & Slim Jim's to quick, hot food items. At this particular location, a McDonald's is attached to the building. This allows for plenty of seating for travelers to stretch out and enjoy a meal outside of their car. This is a good stopping point to get gas before driving into Louisville where gas prices can drastically increase. read more

As previously stated, manager Antik Patel is a classless human being. I stopped for fuel & have to use the Semi's side of the diesel pumps. Normal protocol is to pump then move forward to conduct any business inside the store. Due to the fact I do not have a fleet card I can not pay at the pump & have to pay inside before pumping. While inside it was necessary that I use the restroom (5 mins tops) This proceeded to cause a HUGE problem accompanied by a lecture about how we use the restroom after we pump our fuel (not always an option) He was extremely ignorant & condescending in front of other patrons. The end result was denying me fuel. Extremely unimpressed & will never be back. read more

This place was jammed packed busy! My husband was able to get right to the register and pay for his gas pretty quickly though. I made a pit stop in the restroom. ;) the place was fairly clean. However the walls between the stalls had quite a bit of dust and cobwebs on them. There were 3 paper towel dispensers in the restroom but only one had paper towels. But overall the place was clean enough. Watched to the station was a subway and a McDonalds. The store has a separate section for truck parts. Of course the main store was packed with all your typical travel stop fare; beverages to suit most pallets, snacks and plenty of souvenirs. I've never Yelped a truck stop before, but then this Love's Travel Stop off the Waddy exit of I-64 in Kentucky was wonderful. Nice people, clean facilities, good prices, a full selection of cold bevs like juice, pop and energy drinks, and fun stuff like various sausages warming on hot-dog rollers. I belong to an organization called Postcrossing; my recipients love to receive postcards that are cancelled in the state of origin. Picture postcards are a declining genre and increasingly difficult to find, but this Love's had a nice selection of Kentucky-themed cards -- at only forty-one cents apiece -- also an official USPS mailbox outside to send them. Manager Antik Patel is an idiot. My wife & I visited the shop to have a repair made. After entering the shop & the repair had began, I was told that I couldn't be in the shop area, which is fine. After I left the shop & went outside to my truck, where my wife was already at, the Idiot Antik Patel sent a staff member out to inform me that we couldn't be in our vehicle while work was being done... unbelievable! Needless to say, I stopped them from further time working on the problem. Having been in the Trucking Industry 38 years, I have never had a shop attempt to remove me from my cab. The normal procedure is to remove the keys , but not the driver or passengers!! Never again will I allow someone to work on my vehicle that has that policy. BEWARE OF IDIOT ANTIK PATEL!! read more

Staff is friendly and helpful. Always appears to be clean. Restrooms are clean. Car Pump area is well taken care of. They always have specials on snacks. The hot dogs and food products are good. A lot of the time easier to get in and out that the McDonald's next door. I am not a professional driver so I can not speak for the treatment of truckers. read more
