What a fortunate decision it was to make a quick u-turn to go back to Sollecito's. TLDR: Great selection, outstanding plant knowledge/experience, terrific customer experience. Choose this nursery not others nearby. Soon after parking Nancy approached to ask if we needed help finding anything. We were looking for relatively obscure plants which they didn't have however she suggested we all check in with someone else at the nursery (more on that in a moment). They did have beautiful varieties of butterfly bushes from which to choose. They were all healthy looking with many buds. Nancy explained maintenance and that included a cutting the plant (it's really a perennial , she explained) each April because the new growth will have the flowers each year. When we expressed concern that we may not be at the camp until May each year, she said that it would simply delay the new growth and therefore the initial blooms. Nancy scooped our selection up for us and we headed to the office to pay. Once there, Nancy asked Eric about those obscure plants. In particular, the Bloomerang Lilac that supposedly is hardy for our zone and blooms twice (spring and late summer). Eric said that they had stocked Bloomerang a previous year but the plants did not do well - didn't bloom twice and weren't hardy over the winter. Since we had read such positive reviews about it, we discussed for a bit and Eric had insightful perspectives including the possibility that the it could be worth another try. We paid for it he butterfly bush and to add to the wonderful experience we had already had, Nancy walked us back to the car, put plastic down on the floor and loaded the plant for us. What gems she, Eric, and Sollecito Nursery are! Thanks, we will be back and obviously will recommend you to others.

Not only do they have tons of plants, shrubs, trees, etc. They also have such a amazing layout full of eclectic buildings, quirky designs, and fun crazy decor. The prices are all really good and they staff are extremely knowledgable. We are going to buy a house very soon and have an idea about the layout and design. We had no problem openly giving them a budget because experts need those to work. I highly recommend coming here. They have so much stuff and it's so fun. I've also had their cowboy burger before and enjoyed it. They have gluten free pizza and gluten free buns too. This time I had a lime, basil, honey, ginger mocktail. It tasted like lime only. I was not impressed. It was like eating a sour candy. Not sweet and the other flavors were lost to the lime. My friend had the elderberry chamomile drink and her drink was lime forward and disappointing also. I've had cocktail flights and loved them. This time was a miss. Their flowers are beautiful and they have fun plants and hanging baskets that you don't see often. Will come back!!

Upon our arrival we found all the porch seating was occupied so we decided to grab an outdoor picnic table. After about 15 minutes sitting in today's sun we decided to leave as it was much to hot be able to eat / drink outside in this sun. Oh well maybe next time !! I traveled from Orlando to Syracuse for my daughter's grandmother's funeral. I didn't have time…read morebefore services to plan or do anything beforehand. I wanted to do something special for an arrangement to remember her by for my two daughters who loved their grandmother very much. My sister in law suggested I come here. I asked my sister and another sister in law if they would like to go and they said yes. When we got there it was interesting and creative to me yet I needed help to put something together that I had in mind for an indoor basket with some purple flowers that I was told she loved. Carol just didn't help me, she was patient and kind and very respectful. She helped me create exactly what I was envisioning even if I didn't know it at the time. This is an amazing Garden Center! I went during their Fall Festival/ Clayscapes Pottery Market and both events were run well and laid out wonderfully. One side of the garden center hosted the Fall Festival, which had lots of family friendly activities, a Birds of Prey demonstration, and cute photo ops for kids (and adults). The other side had rows and rows of talented artists with their works of art on display. I thought the greenhouse was a lovely setting for this beautiful market.

Yes, the ordering experience was easy and they delivered on time which is appreciated. However, they used a bunch of filler greenery and leaves and not nearly enough flowers. A cheap looking rendition of what is advertised. Not to mention, we did our own measurements. The height of the arrangement was just under 11" and the width just 14" - again short of what is advertised and paid for for a Premium arrangement. I didn't bother calling to complain because other reviewers have commented that the service is rude and gets you no where. So here is my review backed up with pics.
