I planned my wedding out with the previous owner, Kathy, who was wonderful. I went in knowing nothing about what I wanted besides dark burgundy flowers. She helped me pick out everything and I had no idea what everything was going to look like together, but I trusted her and the staff. I was worried when the shop switched hands that something would go wrong but everything was perfect. All my arrangements were beautiful and communication with them remained great. I called a week or two before my wedding date to ask if they would attach my necklace with my grandfather's ashes in it to my bouquet, which they did, and I loved the placement they chose for it. Whichever employee came to do the setup did an amazing job. I feel like the prices were reasonable and would 10/10 recommend The Floral Gardens to others. read more

One of my best friends ordered flowers from this shop for my birthday. they were gorgeous! It came inside a weaved basket with a little card as well as some chocolate truffles. My fiance said the truffles tasted a little old but we checked and it doesn't expire until January 2019. The arrangement my friend got me was called dessert something. It has fuzzy leafs on it and is in a beautiful muted color palette. The delivery came on time and was such a pleasant surprise. I wasn't able to pick up the flowers until late at night but they were in good condition (only a couple of the flowers had slightly brown-color at the edge). I did't see the specific arrangement I got on their website. It is much prettier than some of the website photos though! read more

We can't say enough regarding the beautiful flower arrangements that the Floral Gardens provided for our son/nephew's funeral. Brittany took the time to sit and talk with us and guide us in the flowers we wanted for the arrangements. They don't just show you pictures and you pick one. We were able to pick the flowers that we wanted for the arrangements. We were able to go to the flower shop the day before they were being delivered to make sure the arrangements were what we wanted. All we can say is the flowers were exquisite. We would highly recommend for any occasion. My husband and I used The Floral Gardens for our wedding this Fall. The flowers were beautiful, and I continually receive compliments on them when people see my wedding photos. However, I was not terribly impressed with the service after our consultation with the owner. My dad brought a vase to the florist so they could do a mock-up of the centerpieces prior to the wedding. When my mother and I went to preview the flowers and centerpieces for the wedding, they did not have the mock-up available. When I did see the centerpieces at the wedding, they were nice, but I would have made a few edits (added more grass, instead of having two measly blades in the vase and probably would have paid to have more hydrangeas put in them). Also, we rented the silk floral arrangements for the ceremony, but they were placed at the wrong gazebo on the property. The florist did credit us for the mistake, and thankfully the fall scenery was enough for us not to notice their absence during our ceremony. My only other gripe is that I was pestered (by a sales associate and by mail) to leave positive feedback for them on WeddingWire.com - a biased website for wedding planning. A company can delete any negative feedback you put on that website, so I'm not going to bother. read more

I called to order flowers for a funeral service and was severely disappointed when I arrived at the funeral home. I requested an arrangement with roses and dahlias, spending no more than $100. The person I spoke to stated that dahlias were out of season, so they couldn't get those but they would do something with roses and try to find something that looked like dahlias. The total was $91 with delivery and tax. The arrangement at the home had 3 roses. Three. One of which had petals falling off. The rest of the flowers were a couple of tulips, a spider mum (which nobody is ever confusing for a dahlia), chrysanthemums, alstroemerias, two snapdragons and some other filler - in other words a bunch of cheap filler stuff you can buy at the grocery store. This was nowhere near a $90 arrangement and I was so disappointed that this was the arrangement my friend's family thought that I sent. Terrible experience. Edited to add: Perhaps they assumed I would never see the arrangement, as my phone number and billing address are both from otu of state. Shameful. read more

I ordered a basket of flowers from here for my sister-in-law's funeral and the arrangement was bright and cherry as I had ordered. Her favorite flower was yellow roses and as it was close to Valentine's Day, they were in short supply which I totally understood. They substituted pink instead and had other yellow flowers as well. I was pleasantly pleased with the arrangement as the reason I chose a basket, it can be used for multiple purposes afterwards, as I am sure my niece will. read more

My wife and I hired this Florist to provide flowers at our wedding. Although I will say that the flowers were very nice, the service was anything but nice. One example, the owner stated to my best man that the flowers would go with the wedding party which we had on a bus. There was no room on the bus for anything but the wedding party, and the owner was going to the same place to set up with a empty van (the same van she brought the flowers on to the church). My best man took care of it and made her bring the flowers. Why should he have to do any of this? Plus, we had a billing issue with her. Just make sure that when she gives you a contract that you can read it (her hand writing is bad) Ask for it typed out by HER! Not her employees who also can't read her handwriting. She did refund us $50.00, but it really didn't cover what she really owed. She was the only vendor we had a problem with. read more

I chose the floral Gardens for my wedding from recommendation. Although the flowers were pretty the service was anything but. I received a PC the day prior from Kathy that the flowers for the church service came in looking horrible so Kathy advised that we use silk instead. She assured me that the silk would be "mixed in" and noone would be able to tell the difference. I was okay with this (I really had no other choice) but was very taken aback when I realized the day of that EVERY floral arrangement at the church that day was fake. Furthermore, I was never offered any discount or refund for this mistake on their part. To make things worse, my mother informed me she was charged additional fees when returning the candle holders to the shop the next day after the wedding. Apparently, no water was used which created a mess when the candles melted. I can understand their frustration however, it was THEIR staff who arranged the candle settings on the tables! How was I 1) to know ths information and 2) I was not around for preparation as agreed upon in contract. So not only was I charged a fee for what I consider partly or even mostly their fault, I was also not compensated for the silk flowers ultimately used when I did pay for fresh. My mother who did my the favor of returning the vases for me ( we had left for honeymoon) shared how rude and irritated the staff were regarding the situation. Since I wasn't there, I was unfortunately not able to point out that it was staff of the company who failed to put water in the vases. Shouldn't they have known this? And if they did just leave the holders for the reception venue staff to light, shouldn't they have given them proper instructions?? I did receive a form requesting feedback after the wedding but I was just too upset at that time. Unfortunately, that was my one and only special wedding day and those memories can't be changed. I will not be referring this company to any friends or family in the future. I am deeply frustrated with their lack of accountability and can't help but feel taken advantage of. read more
