Called Marcelo's after my original screen washing appointment didn't show up. These folks run a good business with reasonable pricing. Good communication and scheduling. Gave me some tips about the gutters and rainfall around the house. Place looked like we had brand new screens made by the time they were done. We have a lot of windows so job took about two hours to take down screens, wash them well, and then put them back up. I'll be using them moving forward for any window or gutter washing services. So, I'm a homeowner but I'm not very savvy with home repairs or anything. We recently had a heavy storm come through and I noticed more rain falling through the gutters where it doesn't normally fall through. I was perplexed. And worried. I thought my gutters might to be replaced or at a minimum to be cleaned. I called Marcelo and he came out the same day! He washed the gutters out and cleaned them and found out that the gutters were not full of leaves but the downspout was clogged with a tennis ball (kids) and shingles from a neighbor's recent roof repair. All of these trees are hell for the gutters and mine were in desperate need of a cleaning. My regular guy moved out of state so I came to Yelp to find another company and saw that Marcelo's had 30 5 star reviews so gave him a call. Within about 15 minutes of talking to him, his son and wife arrived. I assumed they were just going to give me a quote and get me scheduled but they started in right away. It only took them about 45 minutes to clean the house and garage...yep his wife was cleaning as well! They also bagged up all of the waste and brought it to the alley for me,saving me the trouble of having to do it. The price was VERY reasonable, they worked fast and cleaned up, not to mention that they were all very nice...can't get better than that! I was pretty desperate to get the gutters on my home cleaned quickly after a heavy spring rain left us with significant water damage, with more storms on the way during the week. I contacted a few other businesses who added me to the end of their long list (and still haven't followed through on a reply). Marcelo replied to my Yelp request promptly and was able to arrange a visit to give a free estimate the next day. He was able to accommodate me the very next day after that, despite what I'm sure must be a very busy time for him. My home is 2 1/2 stories with a detached garage, and he quoted me a fair price and finished the work quickly. Wow! These guys were great. My wife and I just moved into a new home and the gutters were full of leaves and twigs. We also wanted to get the windows cleaned so off to yelp i went to find some help. Marcelo's company came up and I reached out. I was contact within an hour, an estimate was supplied with 2 days and the job completed within a week. In the 20 years since I've had my 130 year-old house and my even older oak trees, I've made various arrangements to get the gutters cleaned, but two people I used don't do ladders anymore, and the trees are making more and more sticks.
