Now I have to be honest and say that I didn't have the opportunity to actually shop inside of this…read moremarket but I'm rating this store after trying out some of the samosas that they sell at the door on Saint Catherine Street. It was a busy Friday night and we were looking for a quick snack before continuing our stroll and we came upon this market selling hot samosas for a dollar each. At first we weren't quite sold on it but after we saw the masses of people buying samosas here we decided that we needed to try it out. I'm happy that we didn't walk past this shop because the samosas were so delicious and you can't beat a dollar per samosa. The staff here was very polite and they quickly bagged our food before we continued our journey. In the end we loved the food here and the next time we are in Montreal we will have to stop here to look at their other merchandise.

Super excited as I love indian food but the restaurant thing is starting to get quite expensive so I'm super happy to have found a great place to do some groceries for the house and prep some fabulous indian cuisine homemade! There's an abundance of indian spices in jars, cans, powder form with tons of fresh veggies and fruits. Lots of cool flavours. It's not a full on grocery such as no meats .. only spices, dairy products Paneer cheese yaaay and ready to go snacks as you walk in the store. The Place is super convenient for me as we live close by and we don't have to drive far to get our things.. the only downfall is the price.. a bit pricey if you ask me but not as bad as the resto's and it's a convenience thing.. rather spend more and drive less. If you're in the area it's a nice place to shop super clean new and worth checking out. Cheers

I didn't know that it was absolutely necessary to pre- order at least 45min- an hour beforehand. I believe it's way to long of a wait and super inconvenient. The chicken we ordered was dry and way too overcooked. They cook it way too long in my opinion. Recently, I decided to just order what was already ready. They had some BBQ chicken ready and rice was really good and delicious no charcoal grill this time. (3.5 ish for the dish) The grocery store itself is superbe ! A fine selection of food items available on site lots of Middle East items available to purchase that you can't get at your regular grocery store. Got some paneer cheese around 5$ for a thick 600g block so I'm pretty happy about that. The items are very pricey so don't recommend shopping here for anything generic but specialty products are pretty good and worth buying here if you live around the area rather than driving far into montreal/ west island. Overall, pretty small little authentic middle eastern place to check out for sure if you're looking for something extra and different.
