I had to wait for 10 minutes, soaking my feet, but I understood why once they started my pedicure. They take their time, so quality work and don't rush. They also gave a great foot/leg massage that wasn't repetitive and in same spot, but relaxing. The detail came when preparing and cleaning my foot and painting. Devastating Experience with hairdresser Betsy Catudal…read more I am prefacing this review to clarify: my experience is specific to Betsy Catudal and is not a reflection in any way on Look Hair and Nail. Lynn did everything possible to right the wrong that was done to me. The salon refunded my money and Lynn apologized profusely to me. I am absolutely devastated by my recent experience with Betsy Catuda. During my appointment with her, she not only failed to meet professional standards but also did what seemed to be intentionally destroy my hair. I specifically requested minor face-framing and a 1.5-inch trim--nothing more. I was very clear that I didn't want more than 1.5 inches trimmed, to which she assured me with a casual "I got you." However, Betsy ended up cutting 7-8 inches off the front and sides, and cutting 5-6 inches off of the back. This resulted in an almost 90-degree angle "step-down" between the front/sides and the back, with no blending at all. To make matters worse, she created layers that I never asked for by slicing through my hair with dull scissors, causing severe damage to the layer ends and making the remainder of the hair in the back appear see-through. During the appointment, she made a joke about the unevenness of the cut and laughed it off. This behavior, in hindsight, was very telling. Before my appointment with Betsy, my hair was long, healthy, and beautiful. After she was done with it, it looked thin, wispy, and severely damaged. It didn't even look like the same hair. After consulting with another hairdresser (who was shocked by the state of my hair), I learned that to remove the damage and get my hair even, it will require cutting off another 4 inches. This means that in the end, a total of 11 or 12 inches of length had to be cut off. It will take about two years to grow it back. I am not only devastated but also angered by this experience. I urge everyone to be cautious and consider this incident before making an appointment with Betsy. After 8 day and not getting an apology from Betsy or an offer to rectify the situation, I decided to write this review.
