As far as pizza chains, Marco's has a good product for the price. I've never had a bad pie here or messed up order. They are short staffed at times, but so is everyone. Don't expect to be greeted at the door when there's 3 people back in the kitchen doing the work of 5. Marco's is convenient and economical. I don't go there for the atmosphere or the experience when I just need a quick pie to pick up. read more

Ordered delivery from here tonight. I ordered the pepperoni calzone and the 8pc buffalo wings with blue cheese. Prices are great here. Delivery arrived on time (though door dasher accidentally left it at wrong hotel next door). Everything was hot. The buffalo wings were actually pretty spicy! Meat fell off the bones. They were good. I like homemade blue cheese and this was container stuff so I didn't eat it. No celery or carrots come with wings. Hey, $6.99 for 8 wings? Not too bad! The pepperoni calzone was great with the garlic topping flavor. The cheese and pepperoni were cooked inside. The bottom was burnt but not bad enough that it was inedible. I didn't like that they had container sauce with it instead of homemade. But oh well. It was only $6.99. Great price. No knife or napkins or anything in the bag....at least napkins would be nice! Pretty bad experiences consistently. The flavor of their pizza is reasonably solid. Not quite what I grew up with but still decent. HOWEVER... the location at 303 5th St, New Brighton PA has a *very* bad and consistent habit of RIPPING OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS with a lack of ingredients. When you order a pizza from literally ANYwhere.. you expect a crust area without sauce or cheese of about an inch right? How would you feel about a 2 to 4 inch wide crust, and only the center 1/2 to 2/3 of the pizza actually has cheese and sauce? I wish I was joking. Picture attached for proof. THEY DO THIS ALL THE TIME. I tried asking for them to make sure they filled the pie all the way, asked for "no or very little crust" and even sent pics to the manager who blamed it on a "new employee" but admitted it was WAY wrong. He gave me a $25 gift credit which was appreciated, but *nothing changed*. I eventually gave up trying, especially after they started shorting their subs on ingredients too. (If I wanted a loaf of bread I'd just order from Walmart.) It's sad cuz I would love their food for the most part if they didn't rip you off with ingredients. read more

Placed my order at 5:00 on line. Marco App stated I would get my order by 5:38 then 5:41. 6:00 it stated 6:10. I was then told via text from driver that my order was delivered which it was not. I called the restaurant and was told the driver was on the way which I found to be a lie. Finally I got a hold of the driver who said he must've left it on the wrong porch. Who leaves food on a porch especially when it's 35 degrees out. I called the restaurant back and their solution was to reorder my food. I told them no that I didn't want to be eating at 8:00. They did cancel the order charge but I will not be ordering from them again. read more

I tried Marco's just for something different in this pandemic year. hahaha Got a Pepperoni Magnifico pie with red onions. It was very good. 2 kinds of pepperoni, both had a distinct flavor, the onions had a definite onion flavor, the sauce was very light with good taste and the crust was good. I ordered takeout, it was ready as I arrived, the price was good, the inside of the store was clean and the staff was efficient and personable. Best of all, no recoil after effects from a pepperoni pizza with onions. That's a sign of quality toppings! Enjoyed it and I will have their pizza again. Very nice. read more

The pizza is delicious and always hot and crispy. The owner is nice and always has a smile when I go pick up my food. The employees are nice and never have a bad attitude. One of the times I got delivery last year, he included a couple free pepperoni rolls, which were delicious by the way. That was so sweet of them as I had been having a hard time in life and was losing faith in humanity. Random act of kindness that I won't forget. read more

I've noticed that the last two times I ordered from Marcos that the quality of the pizza is going down. First time it wasn't as good, the toppings weren't out at all close to the edge of the pizza. (extra large with dry crust about 3 inches in) Last time one one of the pizzas was cut really oddly, to the point where I had one slice that was about 1/4 of the pizza with another slice that was really small. I asked in their feedback to get a call from management but that never happened so decided to address it here. I'll give them one more shot in a week or so, but if I don't see improvement I'll go elsewhere. read more

I ordered the Italiano sub and the chicken dippers, the sandwich was ok loaded with salami with just a few pieces of ham, toasted to perfection. It's the chicken dippers, I don't think they were worth what I paid, it was delivery, no flavor and was soft and chewy like I microwaved Tyson chicken nuggets. During this time they told us the driver clocked out, someone left the food (but that didn't happen), and they were supposed to remake our order...twice!! I'm, frankly, shocked that Marco's has only two and a half stars as of current. I think their food is pretty tasty! I particularly adore their Steak Bruno sub. They bake the crust to perfection so it's never moist or soggy, just deliciously crisp and well-seasoned. The steak is flavorful, tender, and tastes, for lack of a better word, *real;* not like some meats you get from pizza places that sometimes taste tortured and overly-processed. I will admit that their vegetables are not always the freshest. Depending on the day, the lettuce, in particular, is a bit sad, soggy, and flimsy, but it's not the biggest deal as they deliver it to you in a cup on the side, so if it's lackluster, I leave it off and haul my lazy ass to the kitchen to add my own. The pizza is quite tasty, as well. The sauce is especially mouth-watering and they certainly don't skimp on the cheese. The crust is nothing to write home about, not bad by any means, but the sauce and cheese more than make up for that, anyway. They're usually my go-to for a decent and fairly inexpensive dinner delivered to my door. read more

Their pizza is really good... good amount of sauce and toppings and flavorful crust that's crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I also ordered a Ceasar salad before---great! The turkey club sandwich is also great! I would not recommend the wings though. They are small and breaded. The reason for 5 stars is their employees are very friendly and accommodating. We called 15 mins before close once to ask if we could order pickup and said it's ok if they couldn't do it since they were about to close. They said it was no problem and the pizza was really great.
