The store was clean, well stocked, neat and wow, were the aisles wide compared to my local stores. Also, this was the first Aldi I have been in that has self checkout. Since we only purchased one item, that was definitely appreciated! I'm glad to know that I don't have to rely on just Walmart when I'm in U.P., and especially in Iron Mountain. Whew! 26/2025

I knew exactly why she asked this, she didnt want to help me because if i was using my card i could have gone in the self checkout. She then asked the man behind me if he was using card or cash and he said card. SHE THEN REPLIES... "well the self checkouts are open" as he has a full cart of groceries. The man was very upset with her and they argued and she made it very awkward for me. I love aldi but I hope I dont see this older woman when I go there next. Her excuse was "well im new". This is not the way to treat customers. If they come up to your line, dont tell them to go somewhere else. RUDE

(looking back i think it was just a sharp piece of lanolin or some kind of tile) anyways the guy took my wine and the police said they couldn't even do anything about it on account of the fact I was sort of drunk at the time the incident occurred. I'm sure one of the employees that was bringing in carts saw but they denied it entirely when the police asked them. Needless to say when I went back in the store for a refund they accused me of drinking all the wine in the parking lot!
