We had another company walk off the job on a Saturday afternoon after moving a third of our belongings out of the storage unit and leaving them on the concrete outside because they suddenly decided the job was too big for them. I called multiple companies to try to find help. I had almost given up hope before getting a hold of Marc. He was fantastic from the start. After hearing our story, he said they were booked for the day but would send a crew at 5:00 p.m. after completing their other jobs. I was so appreciative but fully expected to have just a couple of exhausted people show up to help that late in the day. WHAT A SURPRISE to have FIVE guys show up with great attitudes and even greater work ethic! And no added charges for the last minute rush job. Can't recommend them enough. Update: upon unloading, fridge was scratched because metal object was placed next to it. Padding was placed but not taped so it slipped during the trip. Fridge was placed against the side of the truck with absolutely no padding. Movers are nice but need more experience. Was responsive to moving help request, came earlier than scheduled to assess, pleasant and respectful. Discussed items on the phone and quoted numbers however, upon arrival, changed number of men without informing me and then, increased the price last minute. read more

We called Marc's Labor and Moving Solutions on a Monday, and they were able to work us in for Wednesday. Three of the nicest guys you'd ever meet showed up right at the time promised. They worked quickly and efficiently, moving even a heavy king size mattress from the second floor with surprising ease. They cleared out a bedroom for us in short order, and took great care with the move. I cannot recommend these people highly enough. Marc and his guys were FABULOUS!!! We got scammed by Smooth Relocation Vanlines (a "full service moving company")out of Chicago who did not show up on the day of our move - no truck - no movers - no phone call - NOTHING! So we were scrambling to find a truck and movers on the same day of our scheduled move and miraculously Marc and his guys came through! I called them around 10am and by 3pm I had five guys in our house moving everything into a giant truck we had to rent. They were fast; careful with our stuff; definitely knew how to compactly pack a truck; and very polite young men. They cleared out our entire house in less than 2 hours! I was very impressed with their service and extremely grateful that on short notice and on a Sunday; they came to our rescue in a very stressful situation. I highly recommend Marc and his team. He saved the day for us! We were moving my mother from her home to an apartment. Because another moving company stood us up on the day of the scheduled move, I frantically started searching online for moving companies in South Bend. Luckily, I found Marc's Moving Solutions. Even though Marc had other moves scheduled for the day, he committed to moving us at the end of his day. Marc and his crew were very friendly, conscientious, and fast. Marc was extremely professional and kept us posted on arrival time. When he promised to call me with information, he called me - on time. When he said they would show up, they showed up - on time. Avoid. Go with a real moving company. They won't cost you that much more up front and will save you a lot of money and headache in the long run. I basically had the same experience as Pam H. These guys are not professionals. Marc talks that is for sure. He is borderline scam artist. Sure he did the work we paid him to do, but it was not worth the cost. They came late with a U-Haul truck. Used no floor runners. Only had some blankets to protect our things. They deeply gouged the floors of our new home causing more than $1000 of damage. Also damaged multiple items, including our washing machine's window. He claims he is insured and he would take care of the problem. Still waiting 4 months later for him to fix it. Furthermore the job was about 2X more than he estimated. His people were very courteous and worked very hard. But obviously no training, and not professionals. read more

I moved in late May 2017 from Fort Wayne to Mishawaka. I was not looking forward to moving all of our stuff so I called Marc and scheduled him in. I had used Marc once before when I moved to Fort Wayne in 2015 and he was absolutely awesome. Marc and his crew met me in Fort Wayne on Friday morning and had me loaded in around 2 hours. We drove back to Mishawaka and they had me unloaded just as fast. I was lounging on my couch by 5 p.m. that day all moved in, it was the best money I have ever spent!!! It was painless, these guys were true pros and Marc was a pleasure to chat with. My wife and I were amazed how easy it was, the guys were happy to place our stuff everywhere we asked. Great experience with Marc and his crew. They arrived early, were helpful and respectful, and the price was INCREDIBLY reasonable (and was actually what they quoted, which was not the case with APE movers). We had a small job and searched around for a while for movers who did not have a large minimum. They got the job done perfectly in 12 hours notice. Marc (the owner) helped out himself to get it done when we needed it. They were careful of the walls, which we specified. It was blistering hot and the move required a long walk with a heavy bed, but they didn't complain and got the job done quickly. read more

Two of them easily carried my furniture including my couch, book cases, queen size bed, recliner, dresser bureau and many boxes all the way up to my new second floor apartment.
