My friend and I purchased Harry Potter Passport tickets for ourselves and our two 8-year-old boys -- both big Harry Potter fans. One of our boys has adhd, and both are energetic, happy kids who get excited, giggle, and whisper about their favorite scenes. We always sit in the back row out of respect for others, understanding that kids might get a little animated during a long movie. Today, however, we were told by a staff member that they "get complaints about us every week" and that "people have even stopped coming because of us." I stepped out with the only other 2 in the back row with us (an elderly lady and young girl about our boys age) to apologize if we were loud or disruptive, she was shocked and denied having any concern with us stating she never heard our boys. Really, Marcus Theatres? That's not only hard to believe but incredibly disheartening to hear. We're talking about paid family movie experiences -- and two 8-year-olds quietly sharing joy over their favorite story. Movies should be a place where kids can experience the magic of storytelling, not where parents feel shamed for bringing them. Please do better to create an inclusive, family-friendly environment where children -- neurodivergent or not -- can enjoy a movie without being made to feel unwelcome. Let kids be kids. read more

This is a nice theater that we frequent, maybe once every couple of months. I like being able to buy seats and snacks online now, it just makes sense. No more showing up and finding out the show has been sold out! Alas, I speak of the "old" days. Anyway, the seats are ridiculously comfortable and wide now. (I honestly fall asleep for a bit at most movies here, it is just so comfy) It was nice and clean inside. The kids working this afternoon were on the job, cleaning up the moment we left. I visited the Marcus theater in Pickerigton Ohio. My reclining chair didn't work and the people beside me were talking and playing on their phone. I decided to leave after 30 minutes and went to get a pass to a movie at a later time. I explained what to the cashier and several minutes later a young boy handed me a pass. I asked if he was the manager and he said no. I asked for the manager and she came out several minutes late. I visited the Marcus Green Bay East Cinema to watch Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot and had an all around great experience. I purchased my ticket, chose my reserved seat, and purchased my cookie dough bites in advance on the Marcus Theatre app. It was a very easy process and very convenient. By downloading the app and using it to purchase tickets and concessions you accumulate reward points that can be used for tickets and concessions. I received excellent customer service at the ticket counter where my QR ticket code was scanned and at the concession counter to pick up my snack order. The theatre room was very clean and the chairs were very comfortable. The rows of chairs are labeled clearly to find your reserved seat easily. read more

This theater seems more like a cash grab, their membership sucks compared to AMC. At AMC you get 3 free movies a week and refills on large popcorn and large drinks, and a gift on your birthday All for $19.99 per month. this theater? Wow you'd be laughing, they don't have anything near of deals for membership like AMC, you only get discounted meals and maybe $5 dollar rewards after 100points. I advise you NOT to go to the Hillside Theater, Delafield, WI. The seats needed to be updated many, many years ago. Marcos was supposed to change them in 2020, but it was postponed and no date estimated. When you sit in the seats for a movie, you come out with sore back. They are so old, I am positive they cannot be sanitized. With Covid and now new strain from India in the U.S, it should be very dangerous to go to the Marcos Delafield. Their profits mean more to Marcos than the people or they would have changed out all of the seats in all of the auditoriums in this theater a long time ago. Shameful. read more

This theater was the worst. The cost for the experience is terrible . The management did not move people from seat purchased and teenagers argued and would not move. I like this theatre. Still has the old style actual seats not the dream loungers. (I don't find the dream loungers very comfortable). It's always clean here. They always seem to be staffed well too. 4 stars only because I think $4.50/$5.00 for a bottle of water is just ridiculous, well really any of the pricing I think is really high!!! Love the loungers here! They are super comfy and recline pretty far back. The restrooms are always clean here and so is the drink area. They do a great job of keeping everything wiped down, even during high traffic times. Their popcorn is obviously delicious-come on-it's movie theatre popcorn, what more can you ask for? Prices are a little high, but that's what movie theatres do, right? I had a hot dog and it tasted like it had been on the shelf a little too long, but I was hungry and already in my comfy recliner, so I ate it anyway. It was our first time at this theatre. We went on a Friday at 1:00 in the afternoon. There were only two other people in the theatre with us! Unfortunately, they do not offer student prices for my Granddaughter. It's a nice theatre with comfortable seating. As usual, the popcorn was overpriced! $12 for a large!! Went to see a movie there for the first time. This place is absolutely awesome!! The prices are not so bad. But when you are picking a movie, you can actually pick your seats that you want to sit in, they have recliner seats, with cup holders. What more could you ask for?? And if you're on s date the arm chair between you even moves up so you can snuggle and get close! I am definitely in love with this movie theater! (We did NOT have back where I'm from originally.) The lounge chairs and reserve ahead seating online with multiple kiosk pickups available so you can avoid lines are great! The theatre is clean and comfortable. The crowd was quiet so we could enjoy the show (love Green Bay for it's reasonable people.) Concession lines weren't bad on the Sunday afternoon we we're there. read more

This is my go to theater as it is less busy than the bay park location. They offer $5 Tuesdays which I love and their rewards program is great for some free concessions every once in a while. The seating in the theater is spacious and comfortable. The only reason for the lack of a star is due to the price. Between the price of tickets and the concessions you can plan to spend at least $30-40 each time you go to a movie for two people. read more

The comfiest seats I have ever sat in in a theater, seriously. There is plenty of leg room, you can lean back, and there is plenty of cushion for your tush. I was beyond impressed that there was so much space in the aisles. I didn't continually get a face-full of beer gut during the 3 hr Hobbit movie when the guy next to me got up every 30 minutes. Terrible experience at Marcus Theaters today. We saw Monster Hunter, went into the theater room and it was freezing like 60 degrees freezing. Then after the movie started they didn't turn the lights off so I had to leave the room to ask them to turn them off twice, which led to me missing a big chunk of the beginning of the movie. Here's how my latest visit to the Marcus Theater at Bay Park Square, went. I wait in line for 10 minutes for snacks only to be told her "line was closed". Then I order cinnamon sugar pretzels and I'm told they are "sold out". This is the second time I went on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered cinnamon sugar pretzels, and was told they don't have any. Then I order Icees and I'm told that their machine isn't working right now, but should work in about 5 minutes. Meanwhile we find our seats and my husband goes back to get the Icees. He waits in line and is then told the machine isn't working AGAIN and to wait 5 more minutes. He missed the first 30 minutes of the movie! read more

I received a coupon for buy one ticket get the next ticket free from my school when I achieved high honors. I brought the coupon to the theater staff with the intension to redeem it and they said that it did not count for special events. I asked what a special event was and they said a special event was any movie that has been showing at their theater for less than four weeks. In other words, this means that the coupon only counted for shitty old movies that already are on cable. Because of this, I will dedicate my life to the destruction of the Marcus Theater franchise.
