The volunteers are there to help you every step of the way! (Even when your husband says, that's not what I'm looking for. LOL) The Prices are so good, that even if you are not actively looking for an item that you found, you'll look around and say, "It's such a great deal, I gotta get it!" Wow! Oh My Word! This place used to be Great to go to, I hardly ever walked out empty handed... But today (after being closed for a bit) I walked in and things were moved around a bit, but when I got to the "back" (at least that's where the store used to end), it kept going! I got through the next section, only to find more!! I am So impressed by this place, that I went back to the front door and took a 10-minute video... I tried to upload that, but it was too long, I took the video x16 and made a 30-second video... But I also 2x it and made 8 smaller videos... We'll see if they upload... Nana's House helps foster parents provide a safe and loving home for neglected, abused, needy, and abandoned children by providing housing, utilities, transportation, clothing, school supplies, toys, household items, and anything else the foster families and children need. Nana's House will also pay for any extra curricular activities the child is interested in. The children live in a home with two foster parents and up to five other children. I loved visiting this neatly organized and large thrift store. As soon as i walked in a tree full of charming Christmas ornaments for only $1 caught my eye. If you love Christmas they have a whole Christmas corner set up. Christmas was even 50 percent off during my visit. Nana's House also sells very nice furniture, art, home goods, games, puzzles, toys, clothes, linens, shoes, books, and more. Prices on everything were very fair but check the board for even more sales. I really enjoyed my visit to this store and learning more about this valuable organization. People need to read, but if they actually have to pay bookstore prices, they're not going to buy from there or at least I wouldn't. If you go to any other thrift store, even other Goodwill's, the books are decent price. Shirts that used to be $1.99 start at $3.99 and up. I saw a pair of shorts that were ripped in the crotch that were $9.99? Like really? The manager that walks around all high and mighty thinks he's all that and the workers duck pretty much when he comes around. I've notified Goodwill about this location because I think that not only is it below Goodwill standards which I don't hold in high regard anyways, but I think that they are raising the prices for the store to stay open. I will give it for the people that work there. They're very kind except for the manager and very helpful. The value? Well read what I wrote above. If I could've given it, no stars I would have because hands-down in the Palm Bay Melbourne area. This is by far the worst thrift store in Brevard County.

Community of Hope was founded in 2003 by several churches who wanted to address a lack of shelter and transitional housing in Brevard County for homeless families with children. After they were granted their 501c3 status they found housing for their first family in 2005. They have now grown to 34 housing units and are building more in Titusville at Hope Hammock. Services they offer include a short-term family shelter program, permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, a program to help families safely reunify, mentoring and case management, and financial assistance classes. Community of Hope serves an average of 35 families a month in housing they maintain and have provided a safe home for over 200 children and their families over the years. You can help Community Hope continue their mission to house homeless families by donating to and shopping at this store and by volunteering with them. They sell gently used furniture, home goods, art, books, and a lot of Precious Moments figurines. I see them all the time at thrift stores now. We need to brainstorm on a way to repurpose them, LOL. They also have an area in the store to meet with clients. If I lived local this worthy organization would be on my thrift circuit.

Aisles are filled with new and used items with some vintage and antiques thrown in. As I traversed the shelves in the aisles I found collectibles, books, home goods, furniture, toys, clothes, bath products. jewelry, and more. A back room was dedicated to Christmas decorations. I didn't personally try but I read that Ron is open to offers. There was a lot of inventory to check out. Some of it seemed overpriced while other things were more in line with what I think they should cost. While the prices may not be rock bottom low, the quality, variety, and potential for unique finds makes Ron's Thrift and Resale worth checking out.

My experience is going to be different than most but it was a positive one…read more My wife passed away almost two years ago and last year I had been driving around with all her clothes and shoes not wanting to let anything go. I saw this place and felt, this was it. I ran inside to ask if they took donations and they said yes and to drive along the side of the building. I pulled up my SUV and asked if I could be alone while I did this and the sweet lady hugged me and said yes. I didn't hesitate and felt at ease with this thrift shop and prayed that all her beautiful clothes and shoes would bless the right people and that they too would look lovely in them. I will never go back to this thrift anytime soon for it was for a purpose. However, GO! They had some great things and prices at affordable prices. Godspeed!
