That being said our experience at this location was fabulous by comparison. Their partner has been here to have similar work done in the past and had very good luck with it. The issue they ran into was they had a severe infection at the time. My kid was able to make the appointment very easily and everyone was very nice when we arrived. We had to see and waited till they called us. We got inside and they sat in the big comfy chair and I stayed as moral support for them. The nurse was friendly and thorough and got all their information double checked and updated. When the doctor came in she was friendly and professional and went over the options they had for doing the work. My kid and I discussed the options and they went for the one where they remove the hangnails from either side on the big toes. This involves removing a portion of the nail as well as the hangnail and then they treat the area with a solution that is supposed to prevent them from coming back, hopefully forever but if not for a long time. Apparently what they use now is a lot better than what was available when I had mine done. I think the worst part of the entire ordeal was the numbing of the toe. First they apply a topical and then they come back and a needle has to go in in several points around the toe. Once that is done they give you 5 to 10 minutes and they have a tray with all the equipment and tools they need ready to go. From my point of view it was quite a collection of instruments used but they are very sure of the work that they're doing. If you don't have insurance the service is quite expensive but probably absolutely worth what you're paying. They also provide an aftercare kit that is a separate payment of $75. It provides everything you need to care for the area during your healing. They had to wear open toad shoes for a bit as there was also a bit of swelling and such. In the end everything seems to have healed up quite well and now only time will tell if the hangnails will come back at all. We're hopeful that they won't. From what I've seen I would definitely recommend them for your podiatry needs.

He started off in another location down the road and then shifted up here to right behind the hospital. This location is more convenient and I've actually been seeing doctors in this building off and on for almost 10 years. I come here because I am diabetic and have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs. Since things have been getting better with my diabetes this is more routine just to make sure that I don't have any problems. The staff here knows me when they see me and everyone is very friendly. The doctor has a great manner with patients and I would definitely recommend him for anyone with a foot issue. I like the fact that I'm in and out quickly and my appointments always happen close to if not right at the scheduled time.

Who does that this day and time with all the identity theft that plagues our nation?! I did not have a credit card to give them as I am retired and have closed out all credit cards. I gave them my Care Credit Card which has a $6,000 limit with a zero balance but that wasn't good enough. Needless to say I did not get to see a podiatrist to take care of my issue with my foot and I'm an insulin diabetic. All this because I didn't have a credit card to give them nor $150 cash!! All I got was "this is our office policy". My insurance BCBS of Florida stated it would pay 100%, therefore, I'm not sure what the problem was. This is a very poor run practice in my opinion. Who requires you to list your credit card "on a piece of paper for anyone to see" and possibly use? Are they willing to pay recovery cost for identity theft? Probably not!

In these offices I see a primary care physician, an endocrinologist and now my podiatrist is in the same building. My primary care is all done on the phone while construction is happening but the other 2 I can see in person. When I first started coming here it was before the changeover of owners and things worked pretty good. Since the change they have really progressed with my other doctors moving in from other places I was seeing them. I like the one stop treatment idea but I do see doctors in other places and a couple who are not connected. One of my favorite things now is they have the portal up and running really well. I can easily connect with all my doctors here with one click. I usually contact the nurse who coordinates about any needs I have such as refills. I used to struggle to get them done but now it happens so fast. Basically there are some pretty good doctors working here and they take a good variety of insurance. They take covid seriously in the whole building.
