I hired Mariachi Tapatío to play at my wedding on January 21, 2024. When I first contacted them, I spoke to Felipe. I expressed to Felipe from the start that I wanted them to play a number of danzones. My grandfather had been a trumpet player and played in a mariachi band and orquesta in his native Chihuahua. Aside from the danzones, I requested El Corrido de Chihuahua y Viva Chihuahua. Felipe assured me that they would study the danzones and Viva Chihuahua. I communicated with him a number of times and he was always communicative, helpful and honest. Mariachi Tapatío played during our cocktail hour and oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only were they great musically they were super personable and interactive with the guests at the party and even involved my 3 year old nephew who wanted to sing and dance with the band. There was a little hiccup with some correspondence but it was an unfortunate situation that was corrected and everything else went super smooth and seamless.
