She took my payment for a maternity photoshoot, then effectively ignored all of my requests to book a date for the shoot due to personal issues she was having in her life, all I got were excuses from her. I was not advised of these issues, or the holidays she was taking before my payment was made. I gave her benefit of the doubt time and time again until I was so fed up with being ignored that I had to ask for a refund multiple times, before opening up a dispute with Visa for the payment. She has no business sense, she believes that her personal issues trump a business relationship that she decided to enter into (she should have put her business on a temporary hiatus if the personal issues she regaled me with were true, it's irresponsible otherwise). She takes advantage of the situation by not booking you in (rendering you unable to book time off work, arrange for other services on the same day, etc.) I wasted over a month of my third trimester trying to book in with this woman, time that could have been spent looking for another photographer if she had just been open and honest about her personal limitations. I had so much trouble trying to find someone else to book a shoot with due to time constraints once I filed the suit with Visa and received my money back, causing me to need to shoot in the winter, MUCH later in my pregnancy than I wanted to. Also, during the time in which all this was happening, Erika has been rallying others to flood her Google reviews with glowing recommendations to push the bad reviews down, and running sponsored Instagram posts looking for business. HOW ABOUT YOU TREAT PAYING CUSTOMERS WITH THE RESPECT THEY DESERVE, ERIKA? I hope anyone looking to book with her looks at those bad reviews because I believe EVERY word these other women have said - because she pulled some of the same stuff with me. Erika is awful to work with, do not waste your money on her because she is cheap, do yourself a favour and get a reputable photographer. And maybe these good reviews are true, but not knowing if you are getting the good photographer or the awful one is a chance I would not recommend taking.

Her son has health problems, so sometimes there was a little bit of a delay, but you have to empathetic and put yourself in her situation. I had no issues working with Erika, she is very patient with the little ones, has lots of props and good ideas. It being a weekday and not as busy, I received free hair and makeup (normally $75) before the shoot. Chloé, the hair and make-up artist, did a fabulous job making me feel camera-ready and glamorous. Willow, the photographer was a master at keeping me relaxed, explaining (with demonstration) each pose very clearly, always asking my opinion and checking my comfort level. If you are looking for anything less, Nuovo is not for you. At the end of the shoot (about 30-40 minutes) we went to check the results, and I was stunned! They are mainly photos of peoples back of their heads, people feet, random things. Most photos are off-center, unedited, and most were blurry. We could not find one nice photo out of 100. This is so heartbreaking because its not like an annual even like a birthday party where were can "try again next year". This was a once in a life time moment that will never come again. My husband and my family and I are in disbelief and are so very heartbroken. We let the owner (paul) know who has stopped replying. There has been no solution, no refund, not even an apology. Dont waste your special day or event on this 'photographer', let alone the money. :(

This is long overdue but I attended a wedding at the Hilton Lac-Leamy and the DJ looked like he…read moredidn't know what he was doing. While everyone was sitting down for the reception, he was playing a wedding video of a DIFFERENT couple for a good 30 minutes (why didn't he check to make sure it was correct?) He didn't know how to properly mix and transition into different songs, he would literally sit there and wait until a song is over and just play the next song. I think the DJ lied about knowing how certain cultural wedding traditions because he agreed to the bride and groom that he knew what a money dance is. But when I asked him he said he didn't know and literally gave me a mic to explain to the audience what it is (WTH?). When they were doing speeches, he didn't know how to adjust the volume of the mics and when they did a slideshow he didn't know how to fix the audio. Guests from the wedding party actually had to teach him how to properly use his equipment.... It worries me that this company has no reviews on their Yelp page, maybe you should change the name to NO Quality Entertainment Services because this is sad.

Our ladies were super-excited to create a bouquet to take home. We had guests from age 3 to 88.....just look at the picture to see how happy they are. The Fleur Bloom Bar arrived promptly at 11:30 and set-up a beautiful display of what I had ordered. They stayed throughout the shower from 1-4 and assisted people building their bouquets with displays and information. (They were there for a long time!) They even created a bouquet of the remaining flowers for me to take home! They supplied paper sleeves & ribbon. I would highly recommend their business. They were super professional & helpful. (The team of 3 even dressed all in black & provided beautiful table runners for me to use under the Bridal Shower presents.) Excellent idea for a Bridal or Baby Shower, a Birthday, an Anniversary, a Garden Party etc. Their service is well priced....especially with all they do! Communication is excellent.
