I absolutely love this daycare center. I love Ms. LaShonda and her staff. It is always great to…read moresee warm, smiling faces when I enter the school. I was very skeptical and leery of placing my child in another center, considering all the horrible stories you hear about daycare centers and employees; but I wanted to get him somewhere close to home. I am glad I researched and trusted God, as well as the instincts of my 15 month old, who is very hard to please and doesn't take well to everybody. I am beyond pleased and happy with my decision to place him here. He comes home clean, as if I just put on his clothes for the day, I rarely see a spot on him and we have been here since the week of Thanksgiving. He is happy to come and waves bye to everyone when we are leaving. We come from a daycare where I was able to watch him daily throughout the day. It was a very technologically advanced daycare, where he learned baby sign and so many other wonderful things, so you can imagine my hesitance when I needed to cut my daily commute down. Overall, I am beyond happy with Successful Beginnings Learning Center. I love the homework that he has, although it is only coloring. He knows what it is that he is coloring and he is happy to learn. Thank you Successful Beginnings for making my childcare change a wonderful experience.

If you are looking for a nanny, you should contact Bella Nanny as part of your search. I…read morepersonally worked with Yolanda and from my first conversation with her I felt I was in good hands. She is very sweet and informative, and wanted to make sure she understood all the details of the questionnaire I submitted. I was also working with another agency at the time (double dipping I guess) because I wanted to make I was finding the best nanny in the Chicago area. The other agency sent more nannies, and they sent me profiles right away. However, I felt like it was a lot to sift through especially since I didn't feel many of them were a good fit for me and my daughter. The ones I interviewed were just "ok." Bella Nanny sent me two nanny profiles a week after I spoke to Yolanda. I was impressed with both of them for different reasons. Week 2, Yolanda sent me another profile, and I scheduled interviews with all three. It was a hard decision to make, but I ultimately hired one of the three and she has been with us for almost a year. We have a strong relationship, and she is truly part of the family now. Bella Nanny didn't just get nanny profiles over to me to show they had people. They sent people they knew would be a good fit. While the entire process took about 3 weeks, being patient and not wasting time meeting with the wrong people saved me frustration, and a bad decision. Yolanda really listens and really understood what I needed from my nanny regarding experience, and family values. I highly recommend checking them out.

This is the worse daycare I have ever used in my 12 plus years using daycare providers. This…read moredaycare provider doesn't even work in the daycare but rather has "staff" of 2 - 3 women that care for about 25 -30 children. Most of these women aren't people you would even want to care for your pet let alone your child, they are very mean-spirited, rude and uncaring. Most mornings when I dropped off my son, there would be several infants in bouncers on the floor many of them crying, and no one would ever take the time to pick them up and comfort them. Shortly after my son started attending here they would buckle him to a chair so he would not be able to move around, he's nonverbal and sometimes he likes to play and move around just like most other kids. However, since this daycare has soo many kids there's really no space for toddlers to move around to explore and play. Also, I would bring his snack and on many occasions it wasn't given to him after school so he would go the afternoon with nothing to eat. When I picked him up, I would ask how the staff how his day went and sometimes they would respond with a rude or abrupt comment. To make matters worse the owner would constantly send me text messages, mostly about her payment which was soo annoying. Then, she wanted me to sign the government financial assistance forms (IAFC) in the middle of the month, which is suppose to be signed by the parent and provider at the end of the month to allocate the providers payment based on the number of days of service. I have used this program with 2 other providers and they both waited until the end of the month to ask parents to sign the forms. This provider is really very deceptive, underhanded, and really all about THE MONEY. I wouldn't recommend this daycare to any parent, it is absolutely HORRIBLE!
