Woohoo! I'm so happy. My new job has me closer to the LV Strip and Marianna's is on my way home. I used to shop when I lived East of the Strip. But now this is my new spot on the West side of the Strip! I met Greg in the meat/fish dept and he's super nice and helpful. I'm obsessed with the Aguachile Camaron. Seriously so good and super spicy/hot! I love all the produce(good prices). Clean supermarket and nice employees. Parking is easy. I'll be back as a weekly customer. Love Love West Sahara and Valley View on SW corner

One of my favorite bakeries for Mexican sweet bread, the conchae are fluffy clouds of balanced sweetness with a touch of cinnamon. I love the fresh masa here compared to the rest of the Mexican brands in town. I love the fresh corn tortillas, they're warm and ready to be used for enchiladas. All the Mexican ingredients, dry goods, produce and even snacks. Their horchata at the snack area is my favorite and the peach tres leches from their bakery is superb.

I always come here when I want chips, salsa and guacamole. It's cheap for the chips and salsa - less so for the guacamole but it's fairly good stuff. Smooth and spicy. The made in house chips are low in salt, but I'm fairly sure the nutritional info lowballs the fat and calories. The absolute best thing I've ever eaten from here is their cantaloupe agua fresca. They always serve this fresh juice served with chunks of melon, but when they do, a quart is a steal for $3.99. The only thing i would like to see them improve on would be the customer service, i felt like the cashier didnt even care about her job at the end of the day. One thing ive learned is that even if your mot happy fake it for the 3 mintues, you change a persons whole day.

Supermarket very like El Super. Plus is there was no lines for check out. Not so great was prices. Almost $4 for a box of broth so I ended up going to dollar tree to get that. And they didn't have few things I needed. I won't be back.

Mood - pastries Upon entering went straight to the bakery section. There were certain pastries I was looking for. Everything is made fresh. You grab a box and lid from the end of the counter and proceed to entertain your fancy thru each glass door shelving case. There are tongs in each case. Everything was very clean. An employee was designated for that area and kept it very well taken care of. There is a cold display case as well, if you want delights from this display case, they will put them in individual containers for you. I honestly found all of the pastries I was looking for, and then some. You pay for your pastries right at the bakery, so no walking around or standing in lines that don't pertain to you. Would recommend- pricing was beyond reasonable Location is Sahara/ Valley View- ample parking

This review is mainly for the fast-food section. It is with sadness that I'm giving this place a two star rating, and the only reason I didn't give it a one star is the memories of how good it used to be. My beef burrito was so bad that I threw it away! The flour tortilla, possibly made in-house, was raw and saggy, the beef and rice were dry and bland; it was pretty bad! I do like the juices section; they offer all kind of fruit flavored Mexican style Aguas Frescas. The bakery is pretty good too.

    Burrito $5.50 - what a deal and it's huge!
    Addie L.

100% authentic legit Mexican food. Portions are huge and very affordable, my burrito which I couldn't finish was only $5.50. You can also get fresh fruit juices, 32oz for only $2.50. The staff will even let you try a sample of the juices of you can't make up your mind. Your meal also includes a salsa bar with tortilla chips. These are big thumbs up in my book. As a bonus you can even shop in the supermarket and the prices are very reasonable. The only drawback is that it's in a somewhat gritty neighborhood and not everyone may feel comfortable going here.

Mariana's is your one stop shop for a fiesta. great variety of produce, spices here are hella cheap, and so are their meats. We always pick up the already prepared carne asada and chicken breast, all ready to go on a hot grill. Here are some other cool finds at Marianas: Chiles- fresh pasillas or poblanos for Chile Rellenos dried chiles for salsa or mole Mexican Canela(Cinnamon)-for arroz con leche or horchata Jamaica flowers- for agua de jamaica Mexican limes(aka Key Limes) for tacos and Key Lime Pie Queso Fresco-for tacos Queso Oaxaca-for Chile Rellenos Inca Kola-Golden Kola from Peru that tastes kinda like bubble gum Tres Leches and Pan Dulce from the Bakery Corn and flour tortillas-made in house Ranchera Preparada/Pollo Preparada-Best Chicken and carne asada Corona and Modelo to go with your comida Check out Mariana's...You won't be dissappointed...ALOHA!!!

Still the sane this place is a scam to all their customers, keep an eye in your check out cause they over charge you intensional with their products, I just bought the coconuts cause was 2 for 3 dollars and they were charging me 1.89 each around 4 dollars total, I ask the cashier the price is wrong snd she said no is 2 for 3 dollars!!!! It is not just cheak your total in your recibe

I didn't find it here, but I did find $150 worth of everything else. I know what you're thinking. They must be expensive. They're not. In fact, there were so many great deals, I just loaded up my cart. Did you see the big pretty box of teabags in the pics? $10. Wouldn't that make a great gift!? I gifted it to me with many more goodies. Gooseberry jam? Yep! Bulgarian noughats? Yep! Remember those Brach's white square candies with the multicolored jellies in them? They taste like that. $4 for a gift box. I got fresh made Baklava and met the chef- and it turns out we've met before. He makes his Baklava with creamy filling instead of honey. As I drove down Rainbow Blvd...I saw giant letters which caught my eye…read more SUSHI WATER. Now what in the world is sushi water. Of course it was probably Sushi and some kind of water. So out of curiosity I had to see what this store was about. It was quite small and had these giant contraptions inside and all these faucets. The lady/owner came from the back and was very very friendly and asked if I would like to order sushi. I thought there would be little trays to choose from but I was able to choose from a limited assortment of what I wanted. I ordered the rainbow roll which consisted of california rolls and salmon, tuna sashimi. (pretty good price-I forgot how much) As I was waiting I looked around and they had some Asian foods and frozen Asian goods. There were also these assorted sizes of water bottles. I was quite interested in the 5 gal container w/ a spigot. I asked the owner about it and she said the price of the 5 gallon includes the reverse osmosis water they have. Wow- I have been searching for good water here in Las Vegas since I miss the water in the Bay that you can drink straight from the faucet. I asked her if I can taste it and DANG....it is the best water I have tasted since I have been here in LV. I have been buying 1 gal waters from Smith's and even though I buy their brand...it is still crazy pricing of $1/gal. I asked her how much is their water.....can you believe..... 30 cents/gal. No way. (Duh - there was a price list on the wall - I should have just read it. lol) So if I buy the 5 gal container - I can get refills for $1.50. NO WAY....OMG! Good water...good pricing and order sushi while you wait. The lady cleaned out the container, filled it and even brought it over to my truck. She was very nice and helpful. The sushi roll was pretty good, too. I was pretty excited about this water since it tasted good and sooooo inexpensive I just have to tell everyone. GO GREEN!!!! Go there and fill up your containers and save money at the same time. (I was even impressed when the owner- who is Asian- answered the phone and started speaking Spanish.) They are open 7 days/week. 10:30am-8:30pm. Bring a container with you there and test it for yourself.

This business specializes in tamales. Just tamales. She sells a wide variety of different types…read moreof tamales from different meats, different sauces and vegetarian as well. Here is a description from her business card... Tenernos tamales de Pollo, Rajas con Queso Puerco, Elote, Ozxaquenos. If you are throwing a Mexican themed party, you should buy your tamales from her, Gabriela Ramirez, the owner of the business. This is the procedure: 1, Call her telephone number and tell her how many dozen tamales you need. She sells tamales by the dozen. Give her a day to make the tamales 2. She will meet you nearly anywhere in North Las Vegas but she prefers to meet you in the parkling of the Food 4 Less (address is listed in the business info) That's a great location because you can go into Food 4 Less and buy the rest of things you need for dinner. 3. The best part of this deal Tamales are $1 each. Dozen for $12. That is a great bargain. I ordered 2 dozen pork tamales in red chili sauce (adobo). I asked her to cook them then freeze them so I could take it on the airplane back with me to Dulles. I went to WalMart and picked up a $5 styrofoam ice chest, wrapped it with strapping tape and checked it in with my luggage Her tamales taste very good. The pork is lean and has a strong adobo sauce taste to it. I still like mine better because I use real lard in the masa and put pork fat into the filling. (I know that is REALLY bad for you but I only splurge like that once a year around Christmas when I make a batch) It tastes like she uses just a little vegetable shortening if any at all.which makes the masa's texture a little dry. This is easily remedied when you pour the enchilada sauce over the tamale. If you are throwing a party in Las Vegas or are visiting and want to take home some homemade tamales, she is a definately a person to call, especially for $1 a tamale.
