If you get the opportunity to visit El Disparate, go for it! Yes, it's got Michelin stars and yes,…read moreit's a top rated restaurant in Seville and YES, it lives up to the hype. This was our Christmas lunch choice and it did not disappoint. The service was seamless, the food delicious, and location is central. We started with several tapas including oysters that were as large as an adult fist!! They tasted just as good as they looked. The famous broken eggs appetizer was a hit with the tweens. The seafood, steak, and Iberian pork entrees were scrumptious. All 7 people in our party were happy with their meal. Grilled calamari and sea bass were two entrees that stood out. Desserts and drinks were also top notch. If you are looking for a special occasion place or just an exceptional meal, you can't go wrong here. Foodies, this is a must try!!

We made sure to get a reservation because we didn't want to risk missing out, but it did look like folks were walking in without one and were still being seated. All of the food we had was incredible, but the standouts were probably the morel mushrooms and the artichoke carpaccio. We lucked out big time eating here when morels were on special, and they were absolutely lights out. I've never had morels before but was so thrilled by every single bite of this dish. The artichoke carpaccio was artichoke unlike any I'd ever had, sliced to incredibly thin. And served with parmesan ice cream? Are you kidding me?? Mind-blowing. 10/10. No notes. Service was delightful, with our server happy to answer any questions we had and point us in the direction of a few of her favorite dishes. Also, she kept us from overordering, which we very much appreciated. She recommended a white white from the local region that was excellent and paired great with our dishes too. We loved that it was a pretty casual environment, despite being a Michelin recommended restaurant. If you're in Seville, definitely make sure that El Disparate is a stop on your list!

I don't think this place really needs another glowing review, but here I am. I stumbled upon it…read morecompletely by chance on the first day of the arrival, after a long drive, simply because it was close to where I stayed. I knew nothing about it at the time, so I wasn't surprised later when I checked Yelp and saw how consistently praised it is. The restaurant sits directly across from the stunning Baroque San Luis de los Franceses (18th century). From the moment I walked in to ask about the menu and timing, the team was incredibly welcoming and patient, carefully explaining how everything works. We took a short walk to explore the neighborhood, got lost on the way back, and somehow found our way back just in time before the restaurant closing. Despite that, the staff remained warm and accommodating, especially when helping us navigate the wine and jerez selections. I was too tired and out of practice with my Spanish, so I reluctantly switched to English, and it was still completely fine. The food was outstanding, exactly as everyone says. There are no substitutions, and once you've eaten there, you understand why! Everything is intentional. They go out of their way to accommodate you within their philosophy and to make the whole "slow food" experience feel thoughtful, relaxed, and special.
