I've been a patient at this practice 3yrs now. Dr. Tabassum Safari is one of the 4 doctors at the Lenora Church road location. The staff from the front desk to the nurses are all friendly, knowledgeable, patient , understanding professionals that are consistent on every visit. If you're uncertain about an appointment or insurance benefits, they will look into it and get you the answers. The office itself is nice and clean. Not very much decor in the lobby like most offices I've visited but it's nice. Several chairs spaced due to Covid precautions. 1 TV that's set on one channel more like an advertisement of Emory services. So a little something to ponder while waiting to be seen by your doctor The lab and exam rooms are typical nothing really special there. Parking lot is quite large .. I'd say at least 50 vehicles maximum including handicap parking. I do apologize for not taking more pics of the exam, lab and lobby areas but I will on the next visit. If you're looking for a Family Doctor, give Emory a try. There are several locations throughout the metropolitan area. Scheduling an appointment is easy and convenient. Most doctors are accepting new patients. One thing I love about Emory Healthcare is that everything is there. If you need a colonoscopy, it can be done there. Every visit, diagnosis, appointment, surgery, etc is in the portal. Your doctor is notified of every lab report and exam although he or she may not have done the procedure like a colonoscopy. It's pretty cool! It's a paper trail of your healthcare...Who wouldn't want that!

Also note that the corporation let go all of his prior staff and the overall service has become more difficult. I talked to the old staff at the Tree Lane address a few days before it closed and they all told me that the corporation flew a few geniuses in and over a not very thoughtful pizza lunch told all of his old staff that the office was moving, and they were not going to be moving with him or the practice. Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. I had been sick for a couple of weeks with the Flu then a head cold and bronchitis. I thought I could beat it on my own, but a sinus infection finally got the best of me. Their excellent staff was as efficient as ever and I was shown into an exam room right at my appointment time. Dr. Sharpe did a through exam, and best of all, he listened to my story of fighting the cold/flu and ALL my symptoms. One thing that really bugs me are doctors who are too busy to listen to their patients. It may be simple to them, but it's not so simple to the suffering. As I said, Dr. Sharpe did a great job, and now two days later, I am well on the road to recovery. I give Dr. Sharpe two thumbs up. My appointment was at 9:45 and they asked me to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork as I hadn't been in a while. Oh boy I figured. I'm about to be here all day. I arrived at 9:15 and began filling out the paperwork. 10 minutes later I was getting called back for my vitals/statistics or whatever you call them by the awesome nurse Kia! She was helpful and very friendly. Made this part easy going. Dr. Lim was great as usual. The nurse who took my blood...guess what? Me. J. was awesome as well. From start to finish this Dr's office visit made my day. My appointment was at 9:45, arrived at 9:15, and out of the office with a very thorough check up by 10:15.
