Every time I've been in it's been a smooth and easy process. The staff is always great -- from the receptionist to the doctor. They've taken good care of my kids. Wait time is usually around 40 minutes or so but that's understandable for places like this. They are also conveniently down the street from my home. I do recommend this place. Rude employees that don't know what insurance they take. When asked to specify they gave a nonsense answer that made no sense. They clearly don't know what insurance they take. I kind of like this place. kind of don't. it's continent for the location but the hispanic girl at the reception desk is HORRIBLE! she always has an attitude. she never wants to do her job. she talks to you like you're stupid & like she doesn't want to be bothered. she has been on the phone and talks to people on the phone in spanish (her personal phone) but when a hispanic person comes in she acts dumb like she doesn't know spanish. that's rude! honestly i hate coming here just because of her. her attitude and service is atrocious. the providers are nice. i usually have to wait min 30 mins even though i'm the only one there but it's okay. they're all nice. all the nurses, medical assistants, and providers are great. read more

3 weeks ago I was in the hospital because of a kidney infection. I was suspicious that perhaps a kidney infection never went away because my urine was dark. I went into the urgent Care just to get a test and they never took a culture which is against standard protocol. It's extremely important to take a culture with analysis because you need specific antibiotics for specific strains, not every strain responds the same to every antibiotic. For whatever reason it turns out that they never took a culture of my urine which is extreme negligence on their part. Now my primary care is asking for what the results of the culture was and I have no answers for him and I have also no answers for my urologist. read more

I have gone both to the Suwanee and the Duluth location. The Suwanee location is definitely more aesthetically appealing but I received great service at both. My kid got bit by a dog on the face and PA Tatiana Jimenez did a fantastic job with the stitches and the follow up care. She kept asking my kid if he was comfortable and pain management was a high priority. She seemed genuinely concerned about my boy's face.. Also there was little to no wait all times I went back. (About 5-6 times). It's way better than a 5 hr wait at the hospital's emergency room. I highly recommend this place. Do bring a mask as it is required. I will be coming back if any other emergencies should arise. read more

No need for appointment. Tb skin test + reading only $40. Went to CVS mini clinic has to make appointment and it costs $35 to in the test and another $39 to read the result. Chest-ray cost $100 while the community health center cause $125 and needed appointment. Wouldn't think urgent care would be affordable. read more

I am a patient of Gwinnett Clinic. Normally they are easy to work with. However, today was a different story. I am a federal law enforcement officer. I received a letter stating I have been in contact with COVID19. The letter is to be used for insurance. I do not have COVID19. I just wanted to see the doctor. The lady was rude, told me to leave. I explained. I DO NOT HAVE COVID19. Then she made a comment to her counterpart " Happy Thursday!" The three women laughed. I did not feel welcome nor did I feel that if I serve my community to protect and serve them should I or any other patient be spoken to as such. I offered the letter to help with the billing, they also rejected it. I told them I could email it to them. I didnt have a printer. read more

I am giving them 2 stars for friendly staff. I had a Covid test there and I am surprised for medical professionals they don't seem to care about the pandemic and putting patients at risk. The area of the clinic being used for Covid testing is extremely small. No more than 3 persons can social distance in the small narrow space but there were 9 individuals there to be tested. The staff didn't seem to care about the crowded room. My family member and I decided to go outside because we did not feel safe with the capacity and the number of people who clearly had flu like symptoms. At the bare minimum patients should be asked to wait in their cars. YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER NORTH GA URGENT CARE! Won't recommend them to anyone! By the way after receiving a negative test there my sister was required to be tested 5 days later and was positive. Pretty sure exposure occurred there read more

I went to this facility while out of town. It is posted that they use mid-level providers. However and most importantIy I was satisfied with the medical staff and care I received. My gripe is only the inefficiency of the front desk to recognize and accept my insurance. I wound up paying out of pocket ( a reasonable fee). Hopefully I will get a refund once my insurance is finally recognized. read more

Whenever I end up in this particular urgent care I'm greeted with a friendly staff and am provided with gentle and caring service. Most recently I got stitches and a tetanus shot (gross) but Anthony the PA numbed my arm like magic and got straight to work. I didn't feel a thing! Also I no longer have to see the gross gaping hole that was my arm. Thank you everyone at North GA Urgent Care! I must say stitches aren't as terrible as I imagined. The office was very cold but it was the day after Christmas so I'm guessing they had the heat off since they were closed for the holiday. I went in for the very first time Wednesday. The receptionist Tasha was rude , not welcoming what so ever. As a first time patient it is important to welcome a client especially when not feeling well . I went in and she literally looked at me in a rude way and said "yes." like if I was a bother to her. I am BEYOND disappointed in their Suwannee office !!! My handicap brother who has Down Syndrome was in pain when he arrived today and because he didn't have had ID on him they turned him away. He has been to this clinic as a patient before, however since it's been a couple of years they said he was considered a new patient and treated him like a complete stranger! We just moved and he packed his wallet with his ID in it. Everything else was still the same in their records. I visited on 10/4/17 after some research on Google. Here is my experience: Welcome: I arrived and was greeted with a 'hi is this your first time here?'. Not the best greeting but didn't mind it. I noticed people who came after me where greeted the same.I prefilled out forms from online so I handed them over. Payment: It's $120 for a doctor visit. On there website, it offered $10 off for new patients with no insurance, which I asked for. Then, their website under payment info they state that "For patients without insurance, we offer a significant discount for cash payments. " Because of this statement I made sure to go out of my way and stop by an atm for cash. However, when I asked them what the discount was, they acted as if they didn't know what I was talking about. I showed her the website and she said that's the $10 I was already getting off. How does a $10 off for new patients (despite payment method) turn into "a significant discount for cash payment. Either the website is made to be very misleading or none of the ladies in the office knew what they were doing. I had no issue whatsoever paying the money, but If there is one thing that makes me mistrust a business, it's mishandling of money issues. That alone is enough to make me leave even a good doctor. So, if you are a self paying new customer, don't be fooled by the website. Don't waste your time getting cash. The most discount they will give you is $10. Bedside manners: i arrived close to ten or maybe after and my wait was probably less than 10 mins. I was taken to the back and Anthony came in. According to the website, he is the PA. He was very pleasent with good bedside manner. He didn't tell me what I had thought and just prescribed me the medication. I went in with a swollen tonsil and some stuff on it. I asked what may have caused it and he explained. So all I know is what may have called it but not what the name of the actual diagnosis is. Overall, other than the misleading payment information and lacking welcome, it was a good visit. I wish management would read this and clarify the website. read more

One of the receptionist wasn't too pleasant and almost detoured me from staying at this urgent care but thankfully I was able to respond respectfully and maybe realize my sickness was causing my agitation I was able to carry on with what I needed to do. The service was quick once my papers were completed, the nursing assistant was very pleasant and administered my shots without me flinching(which takes technique), the doctor was very pleasant and had great bed side manners and listened and conversed with me about my concerns. More stars if I could! On Sunday, they close at 9PM. I started to have some pains at 7 and held it off until it got stronger, I called at 845 and I know they wanted to go home but they took me any ways. The staff was extremely friendly and so was the doctor. I got to the door right at 8:55 and they did everything they could to see me in and out. I was grateful for them to see me on the LAST min when I know they had a long day. They didnt give me any attitudes or make me feel horrible for calling last min. I didnt want to deal with pain the rest of the night until morning. The doctor even knew a 24 hour pharmacy so I could get my meds that night. Thank you for the short wonderful experience. I'm always hesitant to go to an urgent care facility. Mainly because of the extremely long wait times. So far, I have been to North Georgia a few times. And every single time has been excellent. There's minimal to no waiting. Dr. Anthony is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what he's doing. The staff is also super friendly and very helpful. I'm so glad that I found them. Self-pay is $125 plus any additional treatments you would need. They accept most insurances though. I love that they're only about 10 min away for me so it makes it super convenient.
