And because why the heck not, I also got a toffee pecan shortbread cookie. Why eat just one cookie when you can eat two? While I was there, I got probably the best iced tea I've had in a long time: the holy basil tulsi, which was wonderfully green-tasting and mellow. They have a good selection of all kinds of teas, from rooibos to herbal to black to white to oolong to green and more. But if you're looking for something different, I highly recommend the holy basil tulsi! I'm kind of kicking myself for not buying some of that tea while I was there, because I would love to enjoy it at home. They do sell their teas, so if you're smarter than I am, you will get some tea to take home. One of the great things about HumaniTea is that all of their teas are humanely sourced. They are very invested in combating slavery and human trafficking. So you can feel good that the tea leaves you're enjoying were responsibly sourced. That's a feather in your cap (and in your cup). Another neat thing about HumaniTea is that they offer local kombucha by the growler! I don't think I've ever heard of kombucha on tap, so that's pretty unique.

We had a kid who accidentally spilled the hot chocolate on the floor, so i asked for a mop to clean it up myself; but not only did one of the hosts clean it up, they also served another cup without charging! We had ordered a chai tea, couple of frappes, an iced coffee with the "grasshopper" syrup (mint+chocolate) and everyone was happy with everything. They also have an adjacent book store and a couple of patio tables if you're in the mood for any of those. Highly recommended not only for the great coffees but also for the kind hosts and nice ambiance.

Yada Yada Resale is a new-ish thrift shop in Ludington. We visited recently after having lunch at…read morethe Ludington Meat Shop next door. Yada Yada proceeds go towards a local Christian school. The store is spacious and well organized. They have lots of clothing, housewares, glassware, books, CD's, DVD's, craft supplies, and more. I found a new greeting card for 25 cents. The staff was friendly and helpful. Worth a visit if you're in the Ludington area.
