Today, Sunday September 21 my wife and I were to attend an open house at Spaceport America but we…read moregot stranded. We exited I-25 north exit 32 Upham Road. The paved road had several spots with sand and rocks due to the recent rains that covered sections of the road. Unfortunately, while going through one of those spots the bottom of our car hit something and we heard a noise. On mile marker 19, I pulled over and I contacted AAA Road Assistance for a towing truck. The AAA dispatcher desk agents got very confused and they called me back twice after the first conversation. The weather in the area, desert was 90 degrees. Fortunately we had several bottles of water and snacks. After several hiccups with AAA, they called me back and informed me that Sierra Towing was coming to rescue us. Clayton from Sierra Collision & Towing called me and gave me an estimated time for him to arrive. An hour later, as he mentioned, he showed up and towed us to our home in Las Cruces, NM, 46 miles away. Clayton is very professional with great customer service skills. On the road half way to our home the truck AC stopped working, and Clayton was very apologetic, which we didn't mind once we rolled down the windows. He mentioned that someone else had driven him truck and left it dirty and with the AC failing. We do not reside in Truth or Consequences but I definitely recommend Sierra Towing if you ever need help.

Sadly, the owner of this business never did call me back or email with their estimate for body work…read moreon my vehicle. I called them no fewer than 5 times and there was always an excuse. I also dropped by in-person. More excuses. Months went by. Obviously, since I couldn't even get an estimate, I moved on to another business, which did a great job. Beware.
