Today, Sunday September 21 my wife and I were to attend an open house at Spaceport America but we got stranded. We exited I-25 north exit 32 Upham Road. The paved road had several spots with sand and rocks due to the recent rains that covered sections of the road. Unfortunately, while going through one of those spots the bottom of our car hit something and we heard a noise. On mile marker 19, I pulled over and I contacted AAA Road Assistance for a towing truck. The AAA dispatcher desk agents got very confused and they called me back twice after the first conversation. The weather in the area, desert was 90 degrees. Fortunately we had several bottles of water and snacks. After several hiccups with AAA, they called me back and informed me that Sierra Towing was coming to rescue us. Clayton from Sierra Collision & Towing called me and gave me an estimated time for him to arrive. An hour later, as he mentioned, he showed up and towed us to our home in Las Cruces, NM, 46 miles away. Clayton is very professional with great customer service skills. On the road half way to our home the truck AC stopped working, and Clayton was very apologetic, which we didn't mind once we rolled down the windows. He mentioned that someone else had driven him truck and left it dirty and with the AC failing. We do not reside in Truth or Consequences but I definitely recommend Sierra Towing if you ever need help. read more

Sadly, the owner of this business never did call me back or email with their estimate for body work on my vehicle. I called them no fewer than 5 times and there was always an excuse. I also dropped by in-person. More excuses. Months went by. Obviously, since I couldn't even get an estimate, I moved on to another business, which did a great job. Beware. read more

Christmas my car got nipped by one of Walmart's cargo containers in the parking lot. Everybody in town recommended Sierra Collision as the best. Boy, they were right. My car came back looking like brand new! They even detailed it! I took my car in to have my rusty rear bumper replaced. I had found a like new bumper on line and had it shipped directly from them. They installed the bumper but didn't remove the bumper cover first and damaged it. The owner of the business made all kinds of excuses but never even apologized for the damage. I will never go to these people again. read more

I was stranded on the side of the road so I called AAA for help they arranged for Sierra collision and towing to come and bring me gas however I waited for an hour and they never showed. I called back AAA and was told to wait and that someone would come. I waited for another hour and still no call or no one came so I called Sierra collision and towing directly and spoke to Freddy who said his driver would come so I waited longer however no one ever came. When I called him back his phone was shut off so basically he left me on the side of the road for 3 hours without contacting me or AAA to tell us their plans have changed. I would not recommend this service very unprofessional and unresponsive. read more

I drove off the road about 26 miles south of T or C somewhere in the back of beyond. Dispatcher was kind and tow truck driver stayed in touch till he located me and hauled my car out of a gnarly situation. Great! read more

1st the owners couldn't put their cellphone down to talk with us 2nd it took 5 days longer than originally told. 3rd when car was done we found huge streak in paint which would take another hour to fix.3rd when we finally got our car there was paint over spray all over my car which had to be taken somewhere else to be cleaned. I had them repair my vehicle from a fairly severe collision. They kept me informed all thru the process with current phone calls as events unfolded. I saw the insurance form with their recommended distributors (6) in (3) different states. Lots of coordination required with the Ins company, the adjuster/appraiser, and service groups. Two dates slipped due to wrong part, wrong color, etc. But very pleased with their work and time constraints required. read more
