I got the standard, traditional Thai massage for 60 minutes and it was incredible. You take off your shoes outside and change into a set of loose clothes inside. As soon as I went inside I could tell that it was going to be an amazing experience! The whole salon smells nice and minty like tiger balm in the most soothing way, and you get your massage in one of the individual rooms / stalls! My bus was running late for about 10 minutes and I called ahead to let them know - Oi was so accommodating and understanding. I appreciate it so much! Bring cash to tip and ask for Oi! I've been here multiple times. I love their online booking system which makes it easy and I noticed that you can usually find a last min same day appt. It's definitely a no frills place. Don't think it's the most cleanness but if I'm looking to get my knots out then Da does an amazing job going deep and strong! Make sure you request Swedish if you want them go deep since their regular Thai is more focus on using their feet and stretching, so it'll be more medium pressure. If Da is not available, then Oi is a good second. I had Danny once and it wasn't a good experience. His technique was not good and felt like a cheap massage. I remembered I stopped the massage after 15 mins and he tried to charged me for the full massage which is pretty unacceptable. I was exhausted from working and I had pain in my shoulder until after Thai Swedish massage session with Mr. Danny, one of my favorite Thai masseur in the city so far, he has good awareness by touching with really nice pace and rhythm. It was between deep tissue and relaxation, It was so satisfied and my pain+tightness were relieved. Here are recommendations, don't be afraid to ask him using his feet on your body if you like deep tissue massage, it's common to have Thai massage and you might feel soreness after the session but your original pain will be gone in 1-2 days so, I'd like get Thai massage after work or before my day off to have a recovery time then I feel like a brand new person. Wow I had the pleasure of experiencing Oi and she was amazing. I've had many Thai massages before and am recovering from hip surgery. Visiting town and touring San Francisco I stumbled upon this place and they fit me in same day. Marina Thai Massage is a mini oasis and hidden gem! It's clean, covid-safe (they take their precautions and sanitizing very seriously) and the women are so friendly - tiny but VERY strong! My friend referred me to them, saying during stressful work seasons "she goes once a week". I thought she was being hyperbolic but I gave them a try. My body was aching from packing and moving heavy boxes during an apt move. I booked a 90 minute Thai Massage and got such heavenly relief that I saw them 2 more times that month! I'd go every week if I could. I prefer the 90 min Thai Massage. I tried the Thai Swedish and while I enjoyed that, I felt the most relief and nuanced technique from the full Thai massage. First time here! (8/20/22) This place was recommended by my cousin who I came with along with my sister in law. I never had a Thai massage before let alone a combination of Thai and Swedish so I didn't know what to expect. For a first time, I enjoyed ALL of it.. it was so relaxing and the nice lady who was my therapist did a great job with the right amount of pressure, it wasn't too much or little pressure. After my massage, they ran one credit card, and then the young man at the desk said it did not work and asked me for a different credit card. Both of those cards had fraudulent cash advances. On the same day I cancelled my appt. the fraudulent charges occurred. Emily had been there as a massage therapist for years. She gave no notice and ran to Siam Orchid which indicates a management problem. Folks, my advice is to pay cash. Always use cash with any business when it comes to a massage parlor. read more

Best Massage I've Ever Had! After a fall off my bike 3 yrs. ago I've since experienced pain & stiffness in my neck/shoulder & down the left side of my body that I can't seem to get rid of despite acupuncture, PT, etc... I had scheduled two appointments at Marina Thai Massage. When we called to make an adjustment from Thai massages to Swedish massages we were told we could only have 1 Swedish massage. I said okay, cancel one appointment and we will have 1 Swedish massage. When I showed up both appointments were cancelled. I looked this place up last minute for myself and my bf. They had availability in the afternoon and we showed up on time. They took my bf back immediately but I waited another 15 minutes after it seemed they had overbooked. There was lots of talking back and forth and finally I was signaled to come back. It was really strange they asked me to take off my clothes but only gave me pants to put on. In other places I've always been given tops and bottoms. I thought maybe they forgot and would realize once they came in. They didn't. They didn't ask if I had any problem areas. They didn't ask if the pressure was ok. The gentleman came in and decided what he thought I needed and it was quite terrible. I will not be going back. I only give this place 2 stars because the bf said he experience was great. read more

Ok so I am not exaggerating when I say this place is AMAZING. The massage is deeper than any deep tissue massage I've ever had, as technically complete as an RMT would do it and with a whole body approach. I went in with a shoulder issue and Sonya (she's the AMAZING in this review!) worked away at it as well as working out other knots I didn't realize I was holding. The whole thing ended with an amazing stretch and hot tea. The space is really clean and cozy. There are only 3 areas for massages that are right beside each other and separated by drapery...so be warned you can hear everyone. For those that know Thai massage...this is the real deal. Wow, I had no idea how screwed up my body was until visiting this salon. Had Jonny who was amazing and gave me the most intense massage I've ever had- I could hardly take the pain at certain points but It is exactly what I needed. It's amazing how much stress affects the body - I've been focusing too much on work, worry and endless travel and neglecting my physical and emotional health. I have received 5 massages at this place- the first 4 was when it was the Thai Traditional School of Massage, and those massages were from Supron and Jit. At the time, those were the best massages I have ever received in my life and I have been receiving massage all of my life. I like deep massage- my Dad and stepmom are rolfers- and let me tell you that Johnny gave me truly the best massage I have ever had. He is brilliant and truly a master's master. Not very social, but don't be put off. $60/hr is robbery- you will end up tipping him $20 to try to make it right with him. read more

The massage was just what I expected. The pressure was very intense as I like it. The masseuse was a great listener and checked in with how the pressure was. She adjusted when I told her to use more or less. I went in with a knot on my neck. Told her this beforehand and wish she had spent a bit more time on this. She more or less focused on doing the standard protocol of a Thai massage. I would be giving her establishment a 5 if she had taken the extra time on the problem area. I will definitely try this place again. It was $65 for 60 minutes. I was able to call in the day of and schedule an appointment for several hours later. You can also book online. Something that felt an awful lot like a panic attack, very little sleep. My body was completely hijacked. An hour with NJ returned my body to me. I've been to a lot of massage places. The Biltmore. The Ritz. You name it -- the best addresses. This is The Best Value of them all. The speed and accuracy with which NJ located and worked on various tight areas was incredible. Highly skillful.
